Rouvy offers great workouts once they start, but the app itself feels slow and unreliable. Content and images often fail to load, and frequent redirects to the web break the native mobile experience. Virtual shifting is still not working, otherwise it is a fantastic app. I regret signing up with Rouvy and now thinking of going back to Zwift. I really enjoyed the scenery while training with Rouvy. But every time, I spent more than 1 hour restarting the app and unplug my Wahoo Kickr Core2, in hope the virtual shifting is working. After the recent update, Rouvy doesn't even recognise my Kickr Core 2 via Bluetooth, but only via WiFi, and it loses connection half way through my training.

When you have a bad app, but you buy competition that is better and cheaper than you, so you can continue to suck. 1h of training vanished without a trace, not logged anywhere. Video was loading the entire training. But who cares for stability and quality when you bring new features... I never had such experience with BKOOL...

first it was virtual shifting, claimed to work in February, still not working in November. Supposedly fixed, per an email I got last week, but I can't verify that because the app refuses to load routes to ride. This has happened before. One star, right now, a second because I like the photorealism, when the app works. A wide variety of routes to choose from (again when the app works)

nice app but just not reliable throws out mid route and then when you rejoin it resets the time and says you won't feature on any leaderboards as if it's my fault not theirs!

I'm not convinced by the speeds on climbs.while I accept that I'm no mountain goat but when I'm generating 220watts I would have thought I'd be going at more that 7 kmph up a 6.5% gradient

booted the app up for the first time ever and it squishes to less then 1/2 of my screen and auto rotates clicking on the buttons do nothing have to find the button in the black and can't even scroll first time user guess I'm looking elsewhere

Big fan of the realism - much more engaging than Zwift's cartoon world for me for a virtual ride / workout.
1. once I login app freezes 2. ok...had to complete profile 1rst...once that was done the app worked fine.
The interface is really weird, you must search for what you need every time. The image lags, and so does the app itself. It's just a bit of a trash.
Bkool user here, where is the Bkool Spin Studio App equivalent ? An excellent interface where you understand easily what you have to do, a teacher with energy, some good songs that results in a nice cardio session like Les Mills RPM (not the BS "I'm a pro Pro cyclist") ?
can't login to the app to even get going. I have downloaded it on 2 separate tablets having signed up for the 7day free trial. On the login page the e-mail box wont activate and allow me to enter anything!

Before 2 or 3 updates ago, I had been using Rouvy flawlessly by connecting my Samsung Galaxy S23+ into a monitor via HDMI cable. With Samsung phones this automatically activates Samsung Dex which just simulates a Windows environment on the monitor but is still essentially a phone mirror. Since that update, Rouvy no longer recognises most taps on on-screen buttons. It requires anywhere b/w 2 to 10 taps for a button press to be registered now. 👎

I love the scenery. Other cycling training apps are too video-gamey. Signed up for a "forever" pricing plan. Nope. was $120/year. Just got charged $150. It's money I will never see again, but for $30, they just lost and alienated a customer and any chance at recommendation forever. Businesses don't care. Wringing every penny out of each customer is the focus, so I'm not at all shocked.

Great experience with some improvements. I've been using rouvy for 2 years now and I personally like real life rides over drawings like zwift or mywoosh. The services and rides keep improving and it's very smooth. My 2 minor gripes are the login process, which keeps logging me out on a regular basis although I checked the "keep me logged in". Then the reset password is very buggy. Why don't you send a code by email or phone? Last, although the ride search has improved, it still needs work.

Overall very good experience. Good UI, smooth experience. Just a minor occurence which gets annoying: I'm on occasion logged out even though I check the "remember me" . Why does that happen? Of course I don't remember the password. Why don't you send a code like most websites these days?
