I've tried signing up on two different devices and a PC and have been trying to create an account and membership but every time I try it tells me there was a membership checkout error try again later. I've tried probably a hundred times now and have gotten the same result. it is incredibly frustrating because the penny sign up ends tomorrow and it is going to make me miss the sale

I just signed up for the gym and the app isn't letting me make an account. I make an account and then it says I have the wrong password. whoever is in charge of making this app should be fired.

It takes 10 taps and a full minute from opening the app to checking in for yourself and a guest for planet fitness. Poor app design when all it should be is a member ID QR code. Why does it change hourly? Why is your app so inefficient? Nothing in this day and age should take more than 2-4 taps at most to check into something. Terribly inefficient app. Nothing needs to be this complex. Please change your UI to something less painful to use.
false advertising! they claim "use any location" They do not disclose that they limit how many times you can do so. They conceal that info at sign up

non tech companies shouldn't be allowed to make apps. loading the app to check in is SUCH a hassle. it's funny because every time I go there's always like 2-3 people standing there trying to get the check-in to load. why does that part even need to load? it's so sad. I got so frustrated by it I had to PURCHASE the physical tag. you mean to tell me they can't just give me a tiny piece of plastic with my membership? cmon guys that's lame. just go back to physical keychain tags and be done.
PF in general is a predatory company. there's better gyms with better apps. save your money and go local
when I was able to come it was always clean the staff was very friendly and helpful but now that my bill is to high for me to pay so now I'm just sitting round gaining extra weight but soon as I can make a payment I will definitely start back

I've canceled this out of Brooksville, and for some reason they keep billing me and telling me that I've had late fees, not much on planet fitness. I physically walked in and canceled in Brooksville.

horrible. trying to get in with a guest pass. it makes you set up an account just for this and then you have to set up a complex password - for a guest pass! and if you get it wrong-once- it locks you out. the security is ridiculous. whole app just looks like something from years ago too.

in order to get free day pass..needs my DOB..but it doesn't let me type it on..so I have to manually go back nearly 40 years on calendar? this is poor website design . PA SAYS they corrected calendar issue..THEY DID NOT

Why does it keep taking it out of my bank account first and not my actual debit card. I keep having to pay or have a late charge be taken care of because I never use my bank account or have money in it. BUT THEN WHEN IT BOUNCES IT TAKES IT OUT OF MY VENMO ONLY AFTER THE ORIGINAL CHARGE BOUNCES. Like why doesn't it use the freaking venmo first like its freaking listed on my agreement. Going to sue these jokers for hustling me.
They make it where you have to go in person to cancel your membership. Never use it again, worst app and gem.

Worked fine at first. Lately I've had to uninstall and reinstall multiple times. I check to see if it works okay, at home after reinstall, but on my next visit I get only a blank screen when I open app to check in. So irritating! Have to use my old key tag instead.
Hoping im in. Update i cant figure out how to download the app. It keeps bringing me to a page that wants credit card info. Ive already paid in full at the gym.
this company is a total rip-off I haven't had a gym membership for 32 days and they've already wanted $100 like what am I paying for and why are they being ridiculous with it they say oh your annual fee is going to be 2 months after you sign up literally 32 days after I sign up they charge the 50 and they charged me $32 in one month this is ridiculous this company does not explain that they're going to charge you $100 in 30 days when you sign up for a $15 a month plan. don't trust this company

Planet Fitness is a joke. I tried to cancel my membership over the phone. I was pretty sure they understood my request until they started charging me over text. I called the number in the text message; they said I needed to contact my local gym, which I did. When I called them, they said I had to cancel it in person and that, since it was in the middle of the billing cycle, I'd have to pay for an extra month. They make the process easy for you to become a member, and the other way to cancel it

Worked for the first few weeks...now it keeps bugging, full of glitches.....reason why I don't like installing apps besides they take up space on the phone a lot of them don't function well.
