They didn't give me any alerts that my free trial was ending and I've ended up being charged for a year. I found the meditations good but limiting as they don't often release new ones. I do like the narrator's voice. I just have to give one star for being charged at a time when I can't afford it. I would have canceled.

As N app developer, i understand the need to make a dollar in this world, especially today, but the fact that so many of these that are very important especially in times of dire stress are behind a pay wall is crazy off-putting. To any eyes that find this, i heavily recommend finding something tailored to your needs on YouTube because this genuinely feels crafted for that particular Yoga studio where their parents payed for a lotta stuff for them up to the end of college. I won't move on this.

Everytime you play white noise and minimize the app it stops. only happens 50% of the time. luckily there's meditation files on the app as well which calm me down until they also shut off periodically. auto renewed as well so now I feel like j need to use this app that works half the time since I was charged the annual fee. I want to throw up. how am I able to get a refund

I am disappointed with this app and the management of cancellations . I attempted to cancel my subscription the day it auto renewed and it would not allow me too. I have finally gotten it canceled, but Balance will not cancel it immediately, it says it will be canceled next year. This is not acceptable. I would like a refund for the fee that was taken.

Now they are claiming they can't find my email in the system to refund me. I've checked play store subscriptions. I've provided both my emails and my husband's email just in case and still they "cant" find it. Huge fraud alert. Stay clear!

Tried the free version for a few weeks 2 years ago and didn't really carry on with it and definitely didn't sign up to be charged £62 per year for something I don't use, yet that is what seems to have happened. Didn't spot the 1st one and just seen the 2nd one. I have been charged over £120 for something I didn't want and I don't use. there's no easy way to communicate with them about it either, so I've informed my credit card to try to recover some of the money. I do not recommend this app.

Balance is the most underrated meditation app out there. It's not spammy like Calm and not cluttered like Fabulous. Ofosu's voice is very calming and soothes me in an instant. Love the clean interface. Thank you Balance team! edit: don't know what's up with the app recently but it keeps crashing even after reinstalling. edit 2: still unusable. Meditations never start on pixel 9. Uninstalling for good.

BEWARE I thought i unsubbed but didnt, and was charged 60£ extra, the reason why is because there is a fake unsubscription process on the app, long enough (10 pages long) and intentionally deceitful enough to trick you into thinking you have already unsubscribed. Instead of just telling you to go to the play store directly. whereas every other app has a very simple 2 to 3 clicks to go to settings and unsubscribe from paid options or will tell you to go to play store immediately.

ive been using the app for a few years, up until recently everything was going great. now almost all of the sleep options have stopped working, regardless of type or duration. the audio will just not start or stop abruptly. reporting the issue went no where, even after providing detailed feedback. very disappointed for the expense of a yearly subscription.

The sleep sounds (specifically Deep Sleep and Sound Asleep) have a "crackling" noise that sporadically occurs. It renders the sleep sounds completely ineffective when that noise is keeping me awake. I paid for the lifetime subscription and can no longer use the sounds I typically use nightly. What a disappointment.

update still not fixed bugs. I bought the lifetime subscription and up until a month ago it was working fine. Now ALL the meditations stop playing at some point during meditation and don't resume upon pressing play. Feeling really upset by this as I used this daily and it's really helped my mental health. I'm going to have to fine something else.

Meditation is not trying a bunch of fancy "advanced" techniques. Meditation is focusing on breath, recognizing the thoughts that come up, letting them float away, returning to breath. Guided meditations should be soothing background noise that guides the subconscious mind, not physical instructions for something you are supposed to do. Doing, is NOT meditation.

Fraud - I had subscribed to them last year and decided to cancel my subscription, they have executed an Autopay inspite of my cancellation and have not even responded to me. I've filed a cyber crime complaint against them.

another "free" app that literally won't let you do or see ANYTHING until you put in your credit card information for either a subscription or free trial that they hope you forget to cancel before they can charge you. i see people getting charged by this app when they shouldn't be all over in these reviews, and they won't give you your money back. what a scam.
