Great app. It has a free plan which shows ads. I am not against it, I sometimes like ads because you can find something you might be looking for. But most of the time the ads are about porn, dating sites and show sexual content. This is really concerning as many children under 18 use this app. Kindly add Google ads or other ads which are not porn, dating or sexual content ads.

the Android app has not been syncing with the website for months now. The proposed workaround of using the website is not good enough. the website diary is not mobile optimised nor does it support the barcode scanner.

Update 2026. More workout programs like pilates need to be added. Also add QR scan to scan meal packages with food data OR partner with them, such as Factor meals. Add more exercise programs add more food vendors, please.

When I create my own food item, and then I go to create a recipe, there should be a separate menu option of just MY FOODS that I can search through. Instead I have to search through the database and *hope* that I find my food item. And no matter how creative I get with the naming I can never find my own items. MyFitnessPal has been around way too long for something like this to be a problem. It absolutely ruins the experience. 0/10 until y'all figure it out. :)

for some reason my water intake never saves. it says it saves and then when I go back in later to add more it is no longer saved. super frustrating. the exercise info also fluctuates and doesnt stay current.

It's a good app to track calories, I have been using it for years -- HOWEVER, be sure to check the labels even when you scan the item. LOTS of items have erroneous nutritional info even when it says 'verified' (green check mark). Also the new interface is very impractical, and I am very disappointed with the changes! 🥺🥺🥺

Given everything is behind a pay wall it makes the free version nearly unusable. To the point I have to ask, why even have it. Plenty of free versions of these types offer a lot more. I pulled this down base on rating and figured it at least be up to snuff on offeringa of other free ones.

Can i get my refund asap? I canceled before my 7 day trial ended and they still charged my card and their support has yet to respond. Its been about 24 hrs and no emails back after I submitted a ticket. I hate companies that make it impossible to get help.

I used this app about 5 years ago and recently came back to it. I can't believe that the scan barcode feature is now a premium thing. that made logging food so much easier. until I'm able to find another extensive app, I'll guess I'll continue using this one for now

this app used to be $10/ month and had all the basics- perfectly streamlined. I redownloaded to try and get back on track but now they want $20/month and it's got so many extras that it's overwhelming. I want a fitness and calorie tracker app, not another social media app. Two thumbs down.

I don't like the new updated version of My Fitness Pal. If you close the app and open it again, it goes to whatever day you were last looking at. So you can accidentally log food on the wrong day. When you open the today tab, you see your calories on top and have to scroll to the bottom to see exercise. There's no way to take a screenshot that includes both at the same time. The old version was easier to use.

App is mostly good for logging calories etc. and have been using it for a long time however over the last few months my other half and I are no longer able to see each other's diaries as there is an issue with the app loading to the main website. This is super inconvenient for us as we often copy meals over, we now aren't able to track macros without spending a long time both scanning. There seems to be a real lack of urgency in fixing the issue of Android app not loading to their servers..

1) Weekly view now shows sunday - sat instead of the last 7 days. This is much less useful, especially since the calculations still consider the days that haven't happened yet. I see no way to return to the old view. 2) Why doesn't weekly view factor in bonus/lost calories from exercise/low activity? It means the math is entirely incorrect...? Edit: Wow I really miss the old UI, where I could see everything I've logged that day at once. It's so much less efficient now.

this app doesn't work. you add the food and then it just doesn't track. That's literally the main function of this app. you will add a food, and it recognizes you added it but just says 0 for the cals. then you click on the item and it shows the proper nutritional information that it isn't tracking. garbage

been enjoying this app for the last few months but as of today the app is freezing on the opening splash screen. if I uninstall app and reinstall (have also tried clearing cache/force stopping app) it lets me log in but then get pop up straight away saying app has stopped responding, then any further attempts to open app gets stuck on splash screen again. not sure what's happened but app is broken as of today...

The most worst app ever I have seen!! Never install it guys!! It's just to fill up the storage, nothing else.. As, it doesn't set up the food routine for you automatically, but you have to choose food, and it's of no use as it never show you that you are in the range of healthy section, just showing always fat. and unhealthy sections!!
