wouldn't connect to my mi band 10 (or the mi fitness app)! it kept counting the steps on the phone! even if I disabled it multiple times. Uninstalled and reinstalled it several times, used the health connect and the Google fit app (the sleep part was fine somehow) to no use. just gave up, it's not worth the hours to trouble

Love the concept and meal plan option. Two big downsides: - Will not import steps from Health Connect and seems this has been an unresolved issue for YEARS at this point. Exercises are imported fine but steps just do not work. - Transferring shopping list to Walmart has worked for me once (and I loved it) and never again. Simply will not work anymore

I’ve been using MyFitnessPal to track my meals and it really helps me stay mindful of what I eat every day. Sometimes logging food can feel a bit time-consuming, but overall it’s a very useful app for managing diet and health goals.

Let's you download it for free but if you want to use it you have to pay. Ridiculous. What a waste of time. Tired of these developers doing this. It never used to be like that on android. It was always an apple thing. keep your garbage over there.

paid for the premium - not worth it! does not track accurate step count or accurate calories 😕 very frustrating to use - if you have the app just use the free version no use paying for the premium when the service is so bad!

I have been using the food diary feature for almost 10 years. I use multiple phones and rarely web, so the diary sync is critical for me. Two months ago (Feb 2026), this stopped working. Changes made in the app no longer save to web or other phones. There is a support thread about it, but it's still broken after two months. This is amateur and totally unacceptable. I can't believe they offer a paid subscription when free features don't even work.

when using a meal from a previous day. one ingredient such as milk, adds itself 4 or 5 times. even though it was only on the previous meal 2 times

Updated 2026: I'm recently back on my health and fitness journey and came back to this app. All the features I loved are premium and require a subscription to a premium account. I'm tired of every single thing wanting a subscription. I uninstalled and will not be using this app again. This does a great job at helping me keep track of my food and workouts. Love it.

ok I had started to use this app because it was recommended by health coach at work. A trainer at the gym i started going to recommended a different app. So for a bit I was using both to compare the 2 other app more user friendly, but I started a new program and they recommended this app. So i reinstalled it. I don't like having to pay to get the barcode reader, and I found that some of the macros don't calculate correctly when building a recipe. This is important when one is tracking them!

No longer syncs properly. I rely on sharing my diary with a partner to share recipes, and this has completely stopped working for us. Also, recently the app has had issues syncing activity from Health Connect, making it harder to get an accurate read on my calories for each day

Wonderful for logging daily intake. However, one of the best features of being able to scan a barcode is now only available in the premium version.

Did an actual human being test the latest redesign of this app? Nothing was actually added, things were just moved around to make basic functions now require extra clicks. Having to use a calendar to copy a previous meal to "today" is wild. Making the Nutrients tab default to weekly instead of daily is also unhinged. I finished adding items to my daily log, why would I be more likely to want to see a weekly nutrition average rather than TODAY'S nutrient total? Can't imagine paying for this app.

I can't stand the new UI. It was perfect before. Why waste time and resources changing it? For us daily users that have been using this for years our muscle memory of the various flows is established. Changing things around is incredibly disruptive. I might as well just use a new app.

Came back to myfitnesspal after some time away. What happened? its got way too complicated. The user food/calories selections has weird calories entered. I used to be able to just open the app. search for food or scan, then update.

No Google login. I lost all my data. Thanks. The application is unstable. The initial screen with weight, height data appears continuously. No way of using the app. Bloated with ads and requests to premium versions on immediate access. Removed immediately.

It's 2026 and your app is getting worse. You're "If everyday was like today" function is not giving the correct data. Regardless of the number of calories taken, the weight reading stays the same.

Declining reliability and inadequate support. 10+ years of use; stability has degraded. Observed issues include duplicated food log entries and random deletion of records. Recent incident involved data corruption with no recovery path. Support responses were templated, repetitive, and ignored provided diagnostics. As a paid Premium+ user, no remediation, compensation, or root-cause analysis was offered. Overall experience indicates poor QA, weak data integrity safeguards, and poor support.

Can no longer view my partners meals and add her meals to my plan (meals aren't showing up when I view her diary) - this is an important feature as it stops us duplicate logging when we share meals. Is this a known issue on Android?

Previously used this app all the time. Recently started trying to use it again and the barcode scanner is no longer free to use?! I dont think I will continue to use the app anymore as it takes a long time to type in the food and then find the correct one

I've been using this app on and off for 6 years. when it works its great, easy to find food, large database, links with other apps to track exercise and calories burned. but recently it's not even opening. I've cleared cache, I've reinstalled, it just won't open.

update 2 : support team contact me and they were very helpful thanks God my problem had solved thank u !!! feel disappointed 😞 I subscribed since Jan 1 for 1 year and depend on the app daily suddenly the app logged me out And after logging in again he asked me to subscribe again !! I send a mail to myfitnesspal support team and attached screenshot for my payment on Jan 2026 and no one replied till now !!!

This time I’m going to get that summer body Ive been dreaming about for years. After hearing every influencer on instagram talk about macros and volume eating I finally caved and downloaded my Fitnesspal. And I’m sooo happy I did. Now it makes so much sense. I never new the actual content of my food. I should have done it sooner. So easy to use once you’ve set it up

I am very much enjoying MyFitnessPal, my only complaint so far is trying to export my food logs to send to my nutritionist. I can easily export the nutritional information, but there doesn't seem to be anywhere that says what I actually ate. I am going to have to go through and add another cell manually with what each food was myself, and that just seems like more work that it should be, but there is always the possibility that I am missing something.

I used this app a long time ago and loved it. Decided to use again after Samsung health changed. I did not find it very easy to navigate. I did figure out how to add food, but struggled finding what I actually selected so that I could edit it.

Its a basic calorie counter. Lacks a few features. Surprisingly, it doesn't track vitamins B, D, or zinc. Nor does it track creatine, which is becoming common for those doing strength training. Not sure if the premium was worth the cost for the barcoding access, as I eat the same basic daily diet. I hate that I can't add preparation notes to recipes I've entered......seriously, why is that not a thing in this app? Should be able to attach a note to a recipe for this.

The app is slower than it used to be. They moved several functions to the paid version. Barcode scanner is no longer in the free version.
