when using a meal from a previous day. one ingredient such as milk, adds itself 4 or 5 times. even though it was only on the previous meal 2 times

ok I had started to use this app because it was recommended by health coach at work. A trainer at the gym i started going to recommended a different app. So for a bit I was using both to compare the 2 other app more user friendly, but I started a new program and they recommended this app. So i reinstalled it. I don't like having to pay to get the barcode reader, and I found that some of the macros don't calculate correctly when building a recipe. This is important when one is tracking them!

Wonderful for logging daily intake. However, one of the best features of being able to scan a barcode is now only available in the premium version.

I've been using this app on and off for 6 years. when it works its great, easy to find food, large database, links with other apps to track exercise and calories burned. but recently it's not even opening. I've cleared cache, I've reinstalled, it just won't open.

The app is slower than it used to be. They moved several functions to the paid version. Barcode scanner is no longer in the free version.

Update 2026. More workout programs like pilates need to be added. Also add QR scan to scan meal packages with food data OR partner with them, such as Factor meals. Add more exercise programs add more food vendors, please.

Given everything is behind a pay wall it makes the free version nearly unusable. To the point I have to ask, why even have it. Plenty of free versions of these types offer a lot more. I pulled this down base on rating and figured it at least be up to snuff on offeringa of other free ones.

I used this app about 5 years ago and recently came back to it. I can't believe that the scan barcode feature is now a premium thing. that made logging food so much easier. until I'm able to find another extensive app, I'll guess I'll continue using this one for now

App logs you out every other day, otherwise decent app for tracking food / nutrition. The forced log out issue is super annoying.

Bug issues, cumbersome meal entry, no workout routine options to track by length and type instead of by specific exercise. It was better before.

App is mostly good for logging calories etc. and have been using it for a long time however over the last few months my other half and I are no longer able to see each other's diaries as there is an issue with the app loading to the main website. This is super inconvenient for us as we often copy meals over, we now aren't able to track macros without spending a long time both scanning. There seems to be a real lack of urgency in fixing the issue of Android app not loading to their servers..

I haven't had the app but a few days, but so far I am really liking it. To be continued..... Well... had to make an adjustment here after less than a week with the app. The app started adding double the steps I actually take a day, which doubles burnt calories and calorie deficit. spent way too long trying to figure out how to fix the problem. Done everything that was suggested, and it's still doing it. Not paying for an app that can't accurately log correct, and such important information.

The ui suffers from too many ads and poor placement of those ads. It'll interrupt you mid entry to tell you about the ad, and you'll have to restart. Also, during entry, the cursor will just randomly flash back to the beginning causing you to type things like "enchick". Oddly, I use this both on an iPhone and an android and the ui is different. Everything is moved around and inconsistent. 5/5 app and usefulness, 1/5 UI.

We understand ads can be an annoying part of using free apps. MyFitnessPal hasn’t always had to show so many ads, especially full-screen ones.
