I understand payment for premium features, but after answering questions, allowing permissions, the information that they give was worthless without payment.

It uses other apps to try to outperform them with data, analytics, and reports. It is overpriced for an app. I would use this if it was $20 or less/year. Monthly subscription shouldn't cost more than Netflix or be in the same range.

Developer response

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Our pricing reflects the complex analytics behind our reports and the research that goes into making them accurate and useful. We keep a free version available so people can still benefit, and Premium is optional. If you want to learn more, our Help Center is here: https://help.welltory.com/

I'm a paying subscriber and I'm getting constantly reminded with ads about the lifetime subscription. If this doesn't change I'll look for alternatives. This is very suspicious about your commitment to maintain the app on the long term.

Developer response

Thanks for sharing your concern. Those reminders come as standard push notifications, and you can mute them through your phone’s notification settings if you'd prefer. Your Premium access stays fully supported, and we’re committed to long‑term development. If you need help, reach us via Menu → scroll down → Report a problem.

started out strong. paid for a year since the week trial went well and gave me plenty of information. now after a month it's no longer updating information or tracking anything for days at a time.

Developer response

Hi, thanks for sharing what’s been going on. When data stops coming in for several days, it’s often due to syncing issues with Samsung Health or Health Connect, so checking permissions and sync settings there usually helps. If nothing changes, please send us a report via Menu → scroll down → Report a problem → Send so we can look into it.

over priced. Information is vague and superficial. Not worth it. Almost the same information on the free Samsung health app that comes with the watch.

Developer response

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Welltory goes beyond basic Samsung Health stats by interpreting HRV, stress from inactivity, and long‑term patterns that standard trackers don’t analyze. We offer both free and Premium options so people can choose what fits their needs. You can learn more here: https://help.welltory.com/

it won't measure my heart rate

Developer response

Thanks for sharing what’s going on. If your heart rate isn’t showing, it usually means the measurement couldn’t be processed. Please check that your Samsung Watch or phone camera is set up in Settings, stay still and quiet, and ensure the device fits well. If it keeps failing, send us a report via Menu → Report a problem → Send.

I downloaded this based on some positive reviews. I am, to say the least, underwhelmed. The app started immediately spitting unverified data at me as though it was cannon. No questions about daily life or confirmation of data points. (other than weight, height and age. Even after tweaking the settings it's still telling me I've only slept 3 hours because I woke up and got a snack. Do better. There are other free apps that track my daily activities with better precision.

Developer response

Thanks for sharing. We understand how frustrating it feels when data doesn’t match your day. Welltory reads info from Samsung Health/Health Connect — if sleep looks off, it’s usually from the source app. We don’t create data, only interpret it. Please check syncing/permissions or send a report via Menu → scroll down → Report a problem → Send.

Honestly, I really like this app and it was one of my most used until something happened with security updates a few months back. Now it no longer connects directly to my Google Pixel 2 watch and the camera readings are more often than not too poor to be of use. Now, I don't even use it anymore. I can't afford to waste money on a service that no longer serves. I'll hold on to the app for a bit longer in case things change, but I'm not holding my breath anymore and am looking for a new app.

Developer response

Thanks for sharing this. HRV measurements from Pixel watches are currently unavailable due to limitations on Google’s side. We’re working with them on this, but part of the solution depends on Google. As soon as there’s progress, we’ll update users. We appreciate your patience and hope to support your setup again soon.
