App does not sync with my Samsung Health tracker. I followed the instructions, linked it to Health Connect, permissions granted, etc. Reset the app multiple times and checked with Samsung Health as well. Rise won't sync. Totally defeats the purpose of this app. I'm not manually entering the data when it shoukd be syncing automatically.

Complete waste of time. App is full of clutter making navigation difficult. Lacking basic features like being able to easily edit past sleeping data. Seemingly unable to disable motion detection so its logging hours that my phone is on my desk as "sleep". Setup process was bugged too (specifically the section where you set weekday vs weekend sleep schedules. It would only save my weekend hours). The animations are too long.

This app is literally personal data mining. before I've even created an account it put me through a profiling survey, halfway through switched me to the different, demographics survey and asked about permission for my google health data and Garmin data. I strongly advise not to use it.

app is not designed for people that work late into the night it sets the melatonin window around 10 to 11:00 if you work till 12:00-12:30 and you don't get home until like 1- 1:30 how are you supposed to be going to bed around that time makes no sense I go to bed at 2-230 and wake up around 10:30ish sometimes earlier and it wouldnt let me adjust it

could be pretty useful if it worked. It linked to my garmin easily. But in its current state it's worthless. After one night of using it it told me I'm already 13 hours in sleep debt from one night and no matter how many times I tell it that I have to get up at 6:00 a.m. it tells me that I need to go to bed by 11:30 to get 9 hours of sleep. The math isn't mathing. I'll give it another week to adjust if that's the problem. Then I'll update my review.

It lacks features compared to IOS. Its a good app but lacks some features like smart alarm. Uninstalling until those features are added.

I can see how this app may be beneficial to others, but a week is not enough trial time for me to decide whether I want to straight up pay for a year's membership. Also I cancelled my membership but was still charged, luckily I reached out to them and will be refunded. It’s just an unessasary amount of faff. The UI is quite confusing as well. Great idea, just slightly poorly executed.

Pleasantly surprising app! There's a lot of sleep trackers out there that give you endless pointless data. But this one actually changed the outlook of my day entirely! being able to precisely pinpoint my peak and troughs throughout the day, and optimising my schedule around it, is so simple yet unbelievably effective. Well done to the creators and the team. I'll certainly be telling my friends and family about it.

Genuinely the worst sleep of my life. I followed this app's instructions, the wind down, the sleep sounds, blue light filters, etc. laid down during the "melatonin period" etc. it is 6am i am still awake. i slept for maybe 30mins editing: Your support team, specifically Erica, was helpful in getting the subscription taken care of. I apologize for the harsh words written from lack of sleep. I ended up missing a day of work because this was egregiously unhelpful for me. maybe it will help others.

Tried to install again a while to see if the issues were resolved. Paid for a trial period but when I tried to use it, the app kept asking me for payment again. Sadly now even less able to recommend. Glitches are now stealing money...

cant use the app because trying to determine my sleep debt doesnt account for someone who works graveyard shifts. i sleep during the day. not at night. kinda weird it doesnt allow me to add a sleep time starting at noon.

What's the point of spending $70 a year for an app that doesn't even work? Why do I keep on having to manually put in my sleep data when it's connected? Other 3rd party apps access this information with no problem. If it worked, I'd love it. Very frustrating

I can see the benefits and think it's a great app, however, it often calculated my sleep time incorrectly even when I set it to delay due to using phone before bed. I'd say 5 mornings out of 7 it will say info missing. I have adhd and it's difficult for me to have to manually put info in. I wish it were easier and had a longer adjustment time to get used to using it before having to pay the 29.99 monthly fee. Honestly that's a steep membership fee as well.

While I had a Fitbit, my data was never missed, but when I switched to a Samsung watch a few months ago, Rise would prioritise its Detected Movement over the Health Connect data my smartwatch provided- if I left my phone alone one afternoon, it would use that as my sleep data, or if I didn't "nap" that day, would consider I had no sleep. I tried to appeal this my submitting issues every time, but it never got fixed, and my "sleep debt" continues to "rise" to this day. Not insightful at all.

went through most of the setup to find out they don't account for 3rd shift workers. I go to sleep at 9am and can wake up as late as 9pm.

Really good app providing interesting sleep insight. While I found it beneficial, the cost was too high for me ($50 quarterly). Customer service was excellent though and refunded my most recent charge immediately so there's no risk to trying it out.

Misleading subscription terms. I'm not sure who needs to hear this, but if you advertise a MONTHLY subscription price, make it so that one can *actually* pay by the month.
