Says my peaks are when my toddler wakes up (when I'm most tired but very active), & when I pack up for the day and commute home (when I'm tired but busy). When I'm supposed to be tired is when I'm eating lunch (a time my energy level is up, but I'm still). Bed and wake time match my toddlers because on the nights I do that I get the most sleep. It's looking at my heart rate data and saying the times I'm busiest are the times I have the most energy, when it's actually a survival strategy.

I'm disappointed this forces you to do the 7 day free trial. Makes me wonder if the app has anything at all to offer? If it is so great, shouldn't I get a free 7 day trial with no payment needed, and then if it's great I'd easily be persuaded to buy the full version? Forcing me into giving my payment information even just to explore the app is an automatic 👎🏻 from me because it shows the developers don't truly have their customers in mind, and they'd prefer to lock in payment first.

The app doesn't account for night shift workers and toddler parents. It provides ideal sleep routines but doesn't ask the right questions as to what someone's sleep is off. It'll work for 9-5ers weekends off but I'm a nightshift nurse 3 12hour shifts a week some weekends off. Developers need to do more research for the night shift people and parents...the questions are there but it doesn't ask for further detail on those questions.

buggy app and very limited usability. way too expensive for what it does. if I sit down to watch a movie it records it as a nap and there's just no way to delete the incorrect record. was interested at first, but always curious how it came up with its numbers. I had a long week, and slept for a good 10 hours. Today I got both an "Afternoon Dip" and "Evening Peak" alert simultaneously, and the graph looks really funny. That was when I learned this whole thing is just spewing random numbers.

App does not sync with my Samsung Health tracker. I followed the instructions, linked it to Health Connect, permissions granted, etc. Reset the app multiple times and checked with Samsung Health as well. Rise won't sync. Totally defeats the purpose of this app. I'm not manually entering the data when it shoukd be syncing automatically.

Complete waste of time. App is full of clutter making navigation difficult. Lacking basic features like being able to easily edit past sleeping data. Seemingly unable to disable motion detection so its logging hours that my phone is on my desk as "sleep". Setup process was bugged too (specifically the section where you set weekday vs weekend sleep schedules. It would only save my weekend hours). The animations are too long.

This app is literally personal data mining. before I've even created an account it put me through a profiling survey, halfway through switched me to the different, demographics survey and asked about permission for my google health data and Garmin data. I strongly advise not to use it.

app is not designed for people that work late into the night it sets the melatonin window around 10 to 11:00 if you work till 12:00-12:30 and you don't get home until like 1- 1:30 how are you supposed to be going to bed around that time makes no sense I go to bed at 2-230 and wake up around 10:30ish sometimes earlier and it wouldnt let me adjust it

While I had a Fitbit, my data was never missed, but when I switched to a Samsung watch a few months ago, Rise would prioritise its Detected Movement over the Health Connect data my smartwatch provided- if I left my phone alone one afternoon, it would use that as my sleep data, or if I didn't "nap" that day, would consider I had no sleep. I tried to appeal this my submitting issues every time, but it never got fixed, and my "sleep debt" continues to "rise" to this day. Not insightful at all.
