App functions great, however the ads are incredibly intrusive, taking over the whole screen, disabling the back button and frequently hiding any way to close the ad other than closing the app and reopening

the app is good but I've never used an app with as disruptive ads as this one. they wait to show ads until your actually doing something in the app. going to log food, start searching etc. its incredibly annoying. it would make a lot more sense to show ads after adding something etc.

Has definitely gotten worse over the years but is still probably the best app of this type, with the most detailed tracking. Full screen ads with a tiny untappable 'x' in the corner, random crashes and slowdowns, the usual software enshittification. I can now recommend this app to my friends and colleagues only reluctantly. It didn't used to be like this.

Would be nice if it synced. Otherwise fine to use for calorie counting, but not much else at all. Haven't been able to sync with my Oura ring for 2 days despite uninstalling and reinstalling, disconnecting and reconnecting. Only constant ads and requests to upgrade. Maybe I would upgrade if the app was reliable?
