I only wanted 7 day trial 3 times I have been charged yet I can't install or use it and I can't cancel it, this is such a scam Definitely not calm.
I’ve been using Calm to help me relax before sleep and the guided meditations really make it easier to unwind after a long day. Sometimes the best features are behind a subscription, but overall it’s a soothing app that helps reduce stress.

I am locked out of Premium after paying and confirming my email. Chatbot useless, no helpful links. Is this a scam? The free access materials are good.

Paid for a lifetime subscription. It costs more than 12 monthly payments. Apparently that option was removed and they are forcing me to pay again. There seems to be mostly negative reviews now. Best to avoid this app.

Looks interesting, but never found any free content to try. Seems you have to sign up for the trial or just buy the premium package. I couldn't find anything that didn't have a lock on it.

do not use!! for some reason I can't get a refund of 89.00!! I cancelled my subscription the day before and I was still charged so be careful!!!!!!!!! I'm contacting a lawyer........

I love Calm. So much different content, always updated but my old favourites remain. The sleep stories, meditations , sondscapes are amazing. Kids section is fantastic! Really good value for what you pay
I have been avoiding it for a long time thinking it is too expensive to add into my life but I am enjoying exploring the app and learning more about me and what it has to give.
I had rated the app 4 stars in July 2021 and loved it but now (March 2024) it doesn't play more than 1 sleep track at a time so the timer feature no longer works. It's been like this for a few weeks now and writing here as no fix seems to be forthcoming. The "streak" recording isn't saving either but that's not a major but the timer fault is a major issue. Fix urgently please. 1 update later: not fixed. Did get fixed but now in April 2026 timer isnt working again! (+ limited new content)
Just Breath, I absolutely hate this. Each time I minimise the app and go back in there it is. Really Annoying for an app meant to calm you down. Overall havnt found any tracks that work.

been using for 2yrs now with annual subscription. I've never had any issues with the app having ads or anything like that. I use it to go to sleep every night. so i pick a story to listen to and I'm usually asleep before the story ends. it helps shut my brain off so I can go to sleep and that to me is worth the cost.
Horrible, of course you have to pay for it to be of any use for you.

I particularly love the sleep stories, however, as I listen to one every night I find I have to almost always play one I've heard many times before. I would love it if you were to present us with new stories more frequently. I'm becoming very bored with all the mindfulness and meditation stuff that there is so much of.
hiding an emergency anxiety meditation behind a pay wall is just greed. it's like having an ad before showing a video of how to perform CPR.

I've used this app for years to help me sleep. recently, regardless of what it says in the settings, the app auto plays whatever is next until you stop it manually. this is RIDICULOUS because what's next in the queue might be something loud and stimulating..... and the subsequent music ALWAYS wakes me up. fix this PLEASE! right now the app is actually a detriment to sleep!

Calm offers tools that relieve stress that are soothing and make one calm.
I sleep with this every night. I wish it had the function to play a story and then switch to music or soundscapes. oh well.

I like the meditations a lot. However, I'm noticing that the background nature sounds (rain and birds) are quite loud and drown out the speaker's voice.

I have found the app useful but poor tech support around trying to upgrade to a family subscription has meant that they cancelled my subscription and failed to solve the issue so I have been without it for several weeks involuntarily. the new rate offered for an individual subscription is higher than the one they cancelled on me. alot of my time has been wasted exchanging emails which give me instructions all leading to the higher subscription option and it's deeply frustrating.
