Not terrible, but a few really annoying weaknesses
I’m into my second year with this app. I like the options to use body weight alone, and to have a “home” workout or “gym”, add equipment you’ve got available, and add injuries to be accommodating to still exercising while not furthering an injury. A few months ago, I switched from “home” to “gym”. I like the gym workout for the reason that it doesn’t count down when the app decides I’ve had enough time to do the repetitions(home workouts will time you then countdown, and automatically begins a rest between sets with audible beeps to let you know to begin), I have to tap “log set and rest” to start an adjustable rest period between sets. Now, I don’t know if this is some bug, I’ve reached out for help and gotten no response, but there is ZERO sound at all in the “gym” workout mode. So if you’ve got a stretch for 30 seconds, but you can’t stare at your phone screen and watch the timer, you can continue the stretch while the app has moved on to the next stretch and begun counting down. Same thing when you tap “log set and rest”, you have to watch your screen for the countdown to end to start the next set. I almost want to return to the home workout mode just to get the beeps back so that I don’t need to endlessly monitor my phone screen. Other than that, I do like it, it does help me stay motivated and send emails at the end of the week to let me know what I did. I can scroll through calendars in app to see previous workouts and progress. I think the annual subscription is reasonable. I really hope they fix up the gym mode silence some day so I don’t need to stare at a screen longer than I already do on a daily basis!
Tai chi
I’m trying the seated tai chi. I’m looking forward to it but I don’t know how to do the exercises. There is no tutorial to learn. I have to watch the video to see how to do the exercises. By the time I understand the exercise the time is up.
Love but tech issues
I really like this app but after using it for several weeks it seems to have glitched out. It stopped giving me “advice on form and movement”. Now it has stopped putting warm up and cool downs into my challenges. I have ensured my setting at on and I have also “offloaded the app” but that didn’t help either. I would love a fix for this.
Steps not syncing
I like the app! The only thing that is wrong is my steps aren’t syncing properly. I followed the instructions and have both the health app and the fitness app integrated and on. It’s only picking up 1/4 of my steps when on my health app it says 10k, on muscle booster it will only say 4k.
