how to get icon on home page

Developer response

For Android devices, Open your Apps Drawer (swipe up from the bottom of the screen), find the Kardia icon, and long-press it; then, drag it upward to place it onto your desired home screen location.

It describes a rate below 60 as Normal Sinus Rhythm when it is really Sinus Bradycardia.

The medical parts of the app are buried in "shill-ware". it's actually difficult to use because the needed controls are overwhelmed in appeals to buy their add on subscription. At the price point the basic functions (all the ecg classifications) should be free with the initial purchase. Only the human interpretation should be added cost. It's not easy to get consistent results. You have to practice to avoid muscle movement artifacts. Expecting a better competitor soon.

I used to love the kardia mobile app. Since the last update I have lost the functionality of of rotating the EKG into landscape mode to view more of the strip. Also I used to be able to see previous EKG strips. Now all you can see is the last reading. I don't understand why developers keep meddling with something that works and gives us a product that is not nearly as good. Please bring back previous functionality.

Developer response

We are aware of the issue with landscape mode and are currently working to restore that functionality in a future update. We are a bit confused by the comment regarding previous EKG strips, so please follow up with us at [email protected] so we can investigate why your history isn't appearing.

The previous version was a solid 5. The recent update took away some features that were easy to use. I can still print the trace, and can still email it, but I have to first download it to my phone. Before I could send it to my printer, email it, or simply look at the PDF once the trace is expanded. Don't like the new app.

A recent "update" removed the ability to turn your phone horizontally and veiw more than a couple of seconds of the ECG. They need to bring that capability back.
