Customer service is useless
This experience was an absolute joke. I stopped using your product within a week of subscribing because it was that bad. Customer service was completely worthless, no help, no solutions, no effort, just a total waste of time. Honestly, I’ve had better run organizations at a putt-putt course. At least putt-putt sets the expectation that it’s cheap, chaotic, and a little broken. Your company charges like a serious business and delivers less professionalism than a windmill obstacle and a faded scorecard. I would not recommend this to anyone.
Removed the best feature
Plastered all over their site was the watch app with a full hole layout. Buy the app and find out it’s been updated to remove that and the refused a refund even though the website still had those images. Bring back that feature it was literally the only reason to use this over any other app.
Golfer bill
This app is terrible now. I can’t track yardage of clubs. I can’t skip the track the reading of putts. I want to add what stokes I had on each hole such as putts, chips, bunkers etc.This was possible before I the app was an update. Once in premium you cannot go back. I can get yardage to front middle and back of green. Too confusing to deal with on the course.
Horrible experience
I purchased a monthly subscription from the Apple Store using my Apple account and downloaded it to my iPhone. I tried to use the app for a round of golf. I had entered all my clubs and distances and the app worked until halfway through my round. At that point it started making me Demeter all my clubs but the app wouldn’t save them so it became an endless loop of trying to renter the clubs I wanted to use for the round. In addition the app stopped recording the scores I entered. In short, using this app became a horrible time consuming distraction and really degraded enjoying the round. The straw that broke the camels back was the fact that the app kept confusing adjacent fairways and couldn’t determine where I was in the course. I submitted a support request asking to cancel the subscription and I received a snotty note that they don’t issue refunds and that I had to go through Apple. Believe me I will. I do not recommend this app to anyone. In my opinion , it is a sub standard app with poor functionality and terrible customer service. I believe there are better apps on the App Store which are more affordable.
Long time user - no more. Lost me with the update.
The update ruined this app that I’ve used for 10+ years. I tried to keep using it but I just can’t anymore. Too many other better options. A real shame.
Don’t waste the money if you own an iPhone
Renewal using Apple does not work. They take your money, you get no subscription, and then do not offer a refund. CS said they were aware of the issue 3 months ago but do nothing about it. Scorecard sharing
Why did they take this option away? It was easy to share the round scorecards with friends. Now there is no option for it.
Yardages off
I have been using Golf Logix for many years but this latest version does not work properly. The yardages are all off, consistently showing 10-15 yards shorter than actual. What the heck is going on?
No support
My premium membership wasn’t recognized after their software upgrade and their support team told me to get a refund thru Apple. Btw the upgraded app graphics are terrible
Still Not Fixed 🙁
New version 9.0.9 doesn’t load any golf courses, whatever you type, it just keeps saying “No Results” on the course search screen. I use the iPhone 12 mini with iOS 18.6.
The new look
I started using this app about 7 months ago. I primarily use the app for the green read feature. However, after the update I find this app now a little too difficult to use. I just don’t give you clear yardage any longer and the 3D is worst
Bogie
I’ve had this app for years. Previous version never got got the club aid correct. Then the new update interface is awful. Keeps asking me to enter my handicap, age, what clubs I have, etc, in the middle of my round. Bad customer service with regard to fixing bugs. Do not recommend.
Apple Watch users beware!!!
They have redesigned their watch app to not provide any of the features they advertise. All you get is front back and center and that is without slope. You can’t even track your shot or see a picture of the whole layout anymore. I’m not interested in using my phone for every shot. I bought this app for all the features they claim to work independently from the phone, but don’t. Moving onto 18 birdies!
Just stopped working but still have my money
Was a great app, until a few months ago. I have a premium membership but it wont run at all any more. Cant count how many tomes i removed it and redownloaded. Also it dropped all my scores for almost two years. It kept a few but all the dates are 12/31. Really disappointing. I cant even use it although i am paid through october. Will NOT renew or recommend to others
GolfLogix update
You can not see your previous rounds scores since the last update. Had around 10 years of scores wiped out. Horrible!!!!!
New Update Broke GolfLogix
Avid fan of GolfLogix for nearly 5 years and had hundreds of rounds logged in the app. This was up until the recent update which removed all my history, and made the app generally unusable. Worst part is their customer support is non-responsive. It’s a shame that in 2025 we’re still dealing with basic UI/UX oversights but plenty of other options out there. Just wish I hadn’t spent money on tracking rounds in this app. Seek other options
Don’t waste your money.
This app has zero support. When the new up date occurred it removed all my data. Multiple emails I still have no data of the last 10 rounds played. Should have gotten 18 birdies instead. Don’t waste a 9 months of your time inputting all your data to have it erased with an update.
Paying for subscription And it wont give me premium features
I would recommend buying 18 birdies because not only does it not give you the premium features when you pay for them, but without them the app doesnt even give you yardages into the green so 18 birdies is much better and would never recommend downloading
Don’t spend the money
You can no longer move the marker on the fairway to understand distances. Not worth the cost anymore. Will be trying something new
Seems like a good app if it worked
Purchased the app and premium plan. It consistently asks if I want to purchase the premium package even though I had already done so. When contacting the support team, they mentioned to “resend the token” which should take care of the issue. This has been done multiple times but it resorts back to the same issue shortly after, which locks out the features that were already paid for.
