Book Tee Time
This use to me my favorite app, but now it want even allow you to book a tee time. Keeps saying I need to download app whenever I already have it.
Customer service is useless
This experience was an absolute joke. I stopped using your product within a week of subscribing because it was that bad. Customer service was completely worthless, no help, no solutions, no effort, just a total waste of time. Honestly, I’ve had better run organizations at a putt-putt course. At least putt-putt sets the expectation that it’s cheap, chaotic, and a little broken. Your company charges like a serious business and delivers less professionalism than a windmill obstacle and a faded scorecard. I would not recommend this to anyone.
Removed the best feature
Plastered all over their site was the watch app with a full hole layout. Buy the app and find out it’s been updated to remove that and the refused a refund even though the website still had those images. Bring back that feature it was literally the only reason to use this over any other app.
Golfer bill
This app is terrible now. I can’t track yardage of clubs. I can’t skip the track the reading of putts. I want to add what stokes I had on each hole such as putts, chips, bunkers etc.This was possible before I the app was an update. Once in premium you cannot go back. I can get yardage to front middle and back of green. Too confusing to deal with on the course.
Horrible experience
I purchased a monthly subscription from the Apple Store using my Apple account and downloaded it to my iPhone. I tried to use the app for a round of golf. I had entered all my clubs and distances and the app worked until halfway through my round. At that point it started making me Demeter all my clubs but the app wouldn’t save them so it became an endless loop of trying to renter the clubs I wanted to use for the round. In addition the app stopped recording the scores I entered. In short, using this app became a horrible time consuming distraction and really degraded enjoying the round. The straw that broke the camels back was the fact that the app kept confusing adjacent fairways and couldn’t determine where I was in the course. I submitted a support request asking to cancel the subscription and I received a snotty note that they don’t issue refunds and that I had to go through Apple. Believe me I will. I do not recommend this app to anyone. In my opinion , it is a sub standard app with poor functionality and terrible customer service. I believe there are better apps on the App Store which are more affordable.
Golf cart use
I work at a dealer and we have started seeing the new 2 seater carts come with screens. We love the app but how do we get this app to work with CarPlay. The new carts are set up for that but the app doesn’t allow it.
Long time user - no more. Lost me with the update.
The update ruined this app that I’ve used for 10+ years. I tried to keep using it but I just can’t anymore. Too many other better options. A real shame.
A once great app - ruined
I have used this app for years, loved it. And then the upgrade happened. Features removed. Vague promises of their return. Constant ‘upgrades’ but yet zero progress on returning these features. 18Birdies is a few $$ more, but has much better features and value. I tried contacting the developer - they have stopped responding I guess they can’t handle constructive feedback from customers. Such a shame.
Don’t waste the money if you own an iPhone
Renewal using Apple does not work. They take your money, you get no subscription, and then do not offer a refund. CS said they were aware of the issue 3 months ago but do nothing about it. Scorecard sharing
Why did they take this option away? It was easy to share the round scorecards with friends. Now there is no option for it.
First to Worst
Ever since the “upgrade” a year ago, the interface went from the best among peers to one of the worst. Difficult to access stats across more rounds than the last ten, user interface is counternintuitive, and it shows all 9 hole rounds as incomplete. Son uses 18 Birdies now; I’m thinking of switching as well.
Yardages off
I have been using Golf Logix for many years but this latest version does not work properly. The yardages are all off, consistently showing 10-15 yards shorter than actual. What the heck is going on?

Update doesn’t load par 3 holes
After the most recent update, par 3 holes do not show correctly. No hole map, no yardages, etc. Nothing happens. Frustrating! Especially for the paid version.
No support
My premium membership wasn’t recognized after their software upgrade and their support team told me to get a refund thru Apple. Btw the upgraded app graphics are terrible
They destroyed this app
They pushed a new version of the app this season and it does not work whatsoever. You go to open the app on your next hole and it just stops working then reloads and says you’re 50’ from a hole when you are standing 175 yards from the green. It’s horrible how bad they have screwed this app up. I have used it for years. My last 3 rounds this thing has not worked. Not worth the 49.99 I pay for a yearly subscription! Save your money and find a different app that actually works!
Still Not Fixed 🙁
New version 9.0.9 doesn’t load any golf courses, whatever you type, it just keeps saying “No Results” on the course search screen. I use the iPhone 12 mini with iOS 18.6.
How do you set tournament mode?
This is incredibly frustrating. Where can you select rules compliant mode in order to use the iPhone version of the app in a tournament?

New to GolfLogix
I recently moved from GolfShot to GolfLogix, mainly for the greens info. I expected they would have the basics covered that I enjoyed with GolfShot, but have been disappointed. 1) Setting up a foursome: not at all intuitive and you need to have your partner’s index and emails available. But wait, having their emails is useless because the app does not email the results! 2) Apple Watch: the app asks if you want to link your Apple Watch (good), but when I access the watch the app appears to be lost on the course and does not show where I am in relation to the hole? Granted I am still learning the app, but so far not enamored with having to pay double for less.
Love the Apple Watch UI
The latest Apple Watch UI is a fantastic. I rarely need to open my phone!
Stopped working properly since last update
Since the last update was published, the app has not worked properly. You cannot book a tee time anymore, when you choose that option, it opens up the GolfLogix download instead, even though I already have it. Also, when you're playing a nine hole course, it asks if you want to extend your play, and when you choose that option, the scorecard does not move to 18 holes.
Easy and Accurate
I’ve been using GolfLogix for 14 years. While I’ve always liked it in the ease of keeping my own stats these new upgrades, I’ve really taken it to another level. The outages are spot on and your ability to check on potential shots is a godsend for avoiding poor decisions. I’ve tracked 260 rounds of golf on this app and I look forward to getting to 500.
Good for basics
This is a great app for greens and keep your basic stats. If you have the Apple Watch and care more about effortlessly tracking each shot and strokes gained data, Roundabout is the superior choice.
The new look
I started using this app about 7 months ago. I primarily use the app for the green read feature. However, after the update I find this app now a little too difficult to use. I just don’t give you clear yardage any longer and the 3D is worst
Watch display
Overall works well! Only problem I get is that the hole number is not displayed when the handicap value is 2 digits. My watch is 41 mm so maybe this only happens on the small watch faces. Tried reducing the general text size in the watch app but this did not help.
Mixed Update Feeling
Something with this “update” is causing me issues with the green reading. I feel like I used to get orientated automatically now not so much. Not sure if it’s me but something doesn’t feel normal.
9 holes course
The score card does not go to hole 10 when you choose to play another 9 on the same course. This error was happening and there was an update that fix it but it looks like it is happening again.
Bogie
I’ve had this app for years. Previous version never got got the club aid correct. Then the new update interface is awful. Keeps asking me to enter my handicap, age, what clubs I have, etc, in the middle of my round. Bad customer service with regard to fixing bugs. Do not recommend.
Apple Watch users beware!!!
They have redesigned their watch app to not provide any of the features they advertise. All you get is front back and center and that is without slope. You can’t even track your shot or see a picture of the whole layout anymore. I’m not interested in using my phone for every shot. I bought this app for all the features they claim to work independently from the phone, but don’t. Moving onto 18 birdies!
Pretty good app but…
App seems to work great except when you select Book a tee time. It now takes you in a look to redownload the app.
GPS off
Nice features but the yardage is off by about 20%. So I can’t use it in Colorado
Updated Version
This was a great app before it was updated. 5/5. Gone is the satellite view, choices for entering drive accuracy reduced, cannot view elapsed time during game. Entering score is slow having to tap data several times. I don’t understand why such an app was downgraded. I’m looking for another app.
Just stopped working but still have my money
Was a great app, until a few months ago. I have a premium membership but it wont run at all any more. Cant count how many tomes i removed it and redownloaded. Also it dropped all my scores for almost two years. It kept a few but all the dates are 12/31. Really disappointing. I cant even use it although i am paid through october. Will NOT renew or recommend to others
Charged for Inaccessible Premium Services
If I wasn’t charged for something I couldn’t use, this would be 5-stars, but because this bug has persisted for what seems to be a few months, I’m giving it 2. This should have been fixed, and I should be refunded. I tried the weekly subscription for $6.99, then tested it out on a course I know well the night before playing… worked great. Got to the course the next day, and all the premium options were unavailable and I was continually prompted to buy the premium features. When I clicked on the weekly subscription again, I received an error message saying “You are already subscribed to Premium” but all the features were still locked.
7 day trial????
I was looking forward to using this app to see how it worked…the features seemed awesome. I started my round and was really enjoying what the app offered, until I started the back nine…at that point it locked the distances and made the app virtually useless. WTH is the point of a 7 day trial if you only get 9 holes worth of readings. Sorry, but as much as I wanted to pay for a subscription, you lost me.
Best Apple Watch Feature Gone :-(
What I loved most about the watch app is it used to show the entire hole layout. You could see all hazards and all the fairway. You could leave your phone in the cart and have everything you needed on your watch. The app is still excellent but for me, not perfect without this feature. Please bring it back.
GolfLogix update
You can not see your previous rounds scores since the last update. Had around 10 years of scores wiped out. Horrible!!!!!

Lost years of information after update. Also green reading feature is not as user friendly as prior version. The geolocation does not load the greens properly. Looking for a new app.
New Update Broke GolfLogix
Avid fan of GolfLogix for nearly 5 years and had hundreds of rounds logged in the app. This was up until the recent update which removed all my history, and made the app generally unusable. Worst part is their customer support is non-responsive. It’s a shame that in 2025 we’re still dealing with basic UI/UX oversights but plenty of other options out there. Just wish I hadn’t spent money on tracking rounds in this app. Seek other options
what happened to this app
This app was great for multiple years. Now its barely usable, kills my battery, features aren't as good, and I'm curious of it will still work without phone service (if you download the course beforehand.) I never paid for green breaks but now i have that?
Prior Version was Better
Features on the latest software version could be good but appear to have been released before they were working properly. There is now a compass feature to rotate the view but it is never close, showing the fairway somewhere else entirely when I am standing in it. When getting half way to the green it only shows the green and not the hazards I am looking at. It also stops giving the yardage to the pin or even to the center of the green. I am a senior golfer and rarely can reach the green with my second shot, and the view from me to the green is now glossed over.
Don’t waste your money.
This app has zero support. When the new up date occurred it removed all my data. Multiple emails I still have no data of the last 10 rounds played. Should have gotten 18 birdies instead. Don’t waste a 9 months of your time inputting all your data to have it erased with an update.
Version 9.x is improving but time to move on
Update to Version 9.08.2 Over the past two months I’ve used the paid or premier versions of Hole19, Golfshot, GHIN, 18 Birdies and GolfLogix. While the versions of GolfLogix are improving, the other apps are superior in both functionality and user interface. GolfLogix may achieve the desired functionality in time, but they’re not there yet. Better options are available. Update to Version 9.06 The app has improved with each version update. With 9.06 the Apple Watch has improved significantly. It provides the information needed and the UI is improved. I commend the developers for working to improve the app and releasing frequent updates. It’s not perfect but is getting better with each version update. Update to Ver 9.0.1 While I applaud the updated UI and graphics, the functionality isn’t very good. Some courses load and display properly. Other courses just display a rendering message for 10 minutes and never finish loading. In those cases the app doesn’t work, making the Premier Membership ill advised. Prior rounds, club distances and stats from years ago have disappeared and I assume will never return. Despite being on the market for a long time, the Ver 9.0 appears rough and in need of refinement and bug fixing. —————- I’ve used just about all of the golf GPS apps for Apple iOS and Apple Watch, including GolfLogix dating back to 2010. I recently purchased an annual subscription and started using GolfLogix for the first time in 3 years. I really like the greens maps and club distance. My only suggestions for improvement is in the area of user interface and stats. The UI looks very dated with the pop up windows for each of the stats, including stats for which the answer is 0. Hole 19 and other GPS apps have a much better UI. The stats are decent, but again other apps present the data in a more pleasing graphical format (Golftec, GHIN and Hole 19). GolfLogix has been around for a long time and is feature rich. A more modern approach to the UI and presentation of stats would earn five stars.
Great app, POWER HOG!
Bigger is not necessarily better, it all depends on what you’re looking for. Before it was updated, I had a few years of the old app in which, after I got back home, I would have more than half of my battery left. Now that it’s been updated, I get home with less than 20% left on my phone.
Paying for subscription And it wont give me premium features
I would recommend buying 18 birdies because not only does it not give you the premium features when you pay for them, but without them the app doesnt even give you yardages into the green so 18 birdies is much better and would never recommend downloading
Don’t spend the money
You can no longer move the marker on the fairway to understand distances. Not worth the cost anymore. Will be trying something new
Seems like a good app if it worked
Purchased the app and premium plan. It consistently asks if I want to purchase the premium package even though I had already done so. When contacting the support team, they mentioned to “resend the token” which should take care of the issue. This has been done multiple times but it resorts back to the same issue shortly after, which locks out the features that were already paid for.
