I use this ap every day and it gives me a great indication about how I am sleeping breathing my pulse ox and other health indicators. Works great with my Apple Watch.
Understand Sleep
I did not understand why my sleep was so unprofitable until I got this app. I am glad to see that the app reports I am awake more than I am asleep regardless of the amount of time in bed I have now used it for at least three years and it has helped my physicians tremendously. I have been prescribed medicine to help me get to sleep quicker and the app proves it does work. However, the medicine is not able to overcome whatever is going on in my body or in my environment that keeps me awake. It is very easy now to explain to my husband and others why laying in bed is not sufficient rest and that not all sleep is good quality sleep. Apple health Records time in bed as though you are sleeping and this app demonstrates very effectively that just being in bed is not sleep. I have learned a lot, and it has been incredibly helpful.

Accurate, helpful, easy to use/interpret
I’ve used this app for several years & am well pleased with its accuracy. It provides helpful information on sleep length, quality, etc. in a user-friendly way that displays your results over time for long-term comparison. Also, I’m better at getting to bed when I need to since using it—its data demonstrates a direct correlation between feeling good in the morning & getting quality sleep for enough time the night before. Excellent motivation!

Better than Apple’s Health Sleep Rating
I have been using AutoSleep for years. I was curious how Apple’s own sleep quality rating would compare with AutoSleep. There is no doubt that AutoSleep’s analysis and score aligns much better with how well rested I feel in the morning that what the Health App reports. I love this app.

Excellent sleep app
I like the fact that it works well without forcing you to set up focuses. I prefer not to use focuses. Yet, you can get all of the same information that Apple sleep gives you. It’s an excellent app.

Need ability to accurately log for graveyard shift
Awesome but limited. I work graveyard shift, 1:15 am- 11:50 am. Getting an accurate view/representation of my sleep is almost impossible. Is this a limitation of AutoSleep ? Or a limitation of Apple Watch logging? My wife works normal human hours and the app works amazing.
Not accurate
I have been using this app for several years. The data on the iWatch has never. Matched the data in the iPhone. Never. And yes I have the iWatch app set to “mirror” the iPhone. Other than that I really like the app.

Very helpful app
It’s a really good app to keep up with your sleep. It’s not 100% accurate but it gives me a great general feeling, and accountability for what’s going on with my sleep activity.

App didn’t work
This app didn’t measure the correct information. I didn’t like the idea of having to pay upfront either. Most apps will let you do a trial first. If I had a trial with this product I would never have considered purchasing because I do not like this app.
Great sleep analysis!
AutoSleep is more detailed than any other sleep app I’ve used. It tracks all aspects of sleep and integrates well with Apple Watch and the Health app. It took awhile for me to figure out what each measurement meant, but once I did, I’ve been able to get a good picture of my sleep issues. I have primary insomnia and I’m learning the best time to take my meds and get to bed.

I’ve had AutoSleep for years and it’s been super helpful. Being post menopausal I am obsessed with getting great sleep because it’s vital to keep cortisol levels low and to help with brain health! AutoSleep is consistently on track and helps me know how good my sleep was. It’s easy to read and figure out and overall a perfect sleep App!

Thought my Apple Watch Was Broken
For years, my Apple Watch help me understand my sleep patterns. Every morning I would get up and see just how well I had slept. And then the upgrade came… and all of a sudden I was sleeping four hours. 5 1/2 hours. And even though I felt rested the Apple Watch said my sleep was off. Way off. It literally made me think I was probably gonna get sick with such poor sleep. Then Reddit helped me understand that it wasn’t me or my sleep but something that was amiss after the upgrade. After researching extensively (which the lawyer in me is prone to do) I decided to just invest in an app. And I’m so happy that I chose this one. While it has much more information than I could ever want… this is helping me understand so much about sleep hygiene, cycles, how I’m engaging with my day and most of all how my body is recovering. If the built-in Apple Watch sleep info is like a Honda or Toyota, this app is definitely a Mercedes-Benz. Definitely worth the investment.
Smart Alarm Does Not Work
I give some stars because there are interesting sleep analytics and I like the interface for “training” the app to understand your sleep better. But I bought this for the smart alarm feature which claims to wake you in light or medium sleep within the wake window of time you select. It goes off at the very end of the window if I am asleep, no matter what my sleep cycles show during the window *in this very app*. If I wake naturally during the window, even though I can see in the data that the app knows exactly when I woke up, the alarm doesn’t go off until 10-15 minutes after I wake. I wrote in to ask how to train it to work better and they told me don’t use this “early wake” function, use the “smart wake” feature that taps you every minute in a 15 minute window to “wake you gently” (it starts this light sleeper out of all sleep stages on first tap). They said Early Wake works just fine, but no app can tell when you’re in deep sleep. Their metrics include deep sleep, and they claim this wakes you in light or medium sleep. Why offer a feature that does not work, and that their support team says DO NOT USE? If you want a good smart alarm that wakes you in good sleep stages, try FitBit instead. I’m regretting switching.
Data Don’t Lie
If I could write this app 10 stars, I would! There is so much pertinent data given by this app that helps me understand the quality of my rest and sleep. I use it daily and for good reason.

This app is not only very useful but extremely informative and helps me better understand my sleep patterns and habits. I have a very irregular sleep schedule due to my job and I use the app to help identify where I can do a better job when I have time to adjust or take advantage of rest opportunities. Thank you!
Best I’ve used
I use this app every day. I’m always finding new capabilities. I like the customization on the pallet for my rings. That gives me a good visual of last night sleep, and history of how I’ve been doing. I totally recommend this app.
Soon after starting
I’m pretty new to AutoSleep. What I’ve been able to understand so far two weeks plus) has been very encouraging and helpful to do better in all categories. It takes a while to understand the wealth of information it provides, but certainly it’s worth all the effort it takes. If you’re concerned about your sleep, Health and overall well-being is worth the effort. I look forward to making a better review when I fully understanding the range of this app.
Best sleep hygiene app in 2026 so far!!
AutoSleep sleep tracking app is by far the best out there, hands down! I’ve researched and tried them all on Android and iOS over the past ~ 4 years, as I’ve struggled with insomnia due to shift work and the military. This app has helped me get on top of the problem FINALLY, after trying, and paying for soooo many other Apps. Try the AutoSleep app if you need to collect the data, it works, it’s worth it! Use an Apple Watch with it installed, it works flawlessly. No, I do not work for them, though I DO sound like it. 🤓
Great App
I love that there are still apps that do not nickel and dime you with a subscription. AND this one works great. You can “tune” it to you. It helps me with cpap compliance and lets me know if I am going to need a nap.
Overly Complicated and Missing Simplest Feature
After going through your needlessly unexplained tutorials and help portals, I realized you just don’t have this feature. If you forget to wear your watch one night you’re screwed. I can’t manually add anything even on their “Day/Edit” they recommended when clicking Help. It just made the app crash multiple times. So now it says I’m in serious sleep debt and I can’t change it. Deleting the app and switching to something else. If you want an easy app that spent feel like rocket science at the smallest human error, don’t buy this
It’s a lot
I like this app but I’m fairly new to it and it’s a bit overwhelming! I don’t like having to view all the data on my phone. I can tell there is a lot of good information here, and I’m glad I purchased it.
Used it for years
I’ve used this app for years. Nothing comes close to tracking your sleep and heart rate like this app. Amazingly good.
Great and keeps getting better
Have used for years and it’s no wonder it keeps winning awards. Continuous updates and improvements and great sister apps interoperability. Well worth the one time nominal fee, even for users of the watch and other trackers.

Handy but weird
I’ve been using AutoSleep for years with my iPhone and Watch. I consider it pretty accurate except for this one thing…it regularly decides I’m napping when I’m doing no such thing. I’m sitting in a cafe, actively using my phone. I promise you I’m quite awake, AutoSleep. Please stop claiming otherwise and polluting those nifty stats you’ve collected for me. Not only that, but make it easier to edit and delete.
Awesome, with caveats
Great app. Definitely more insightful than the Apple Health app. But does have random glitches… not enough to notice it, but it takes a few app refreshes before your data is correctly processed and displayed. Slowly the glitches have been getting fixed. Hopefully it will be resolved soon.
Amazing
This app is so reliable! I know because I often wake up during the night and this app records those wake ups accurately. Also the information data base is incredible (😳smarter than me) I will have to take some more time to understand it more!!
