Absolutely pathetic. I've purchased a 1 year subscription for an app that is completely unusable. The app is ubearably slow, often freezes mid session and my downloads randomly dissapear. And that's if you can even log in! If your purchase is older than 65 days you can't get a refund, so I've paid almost 60 euros for a years worth of acces to a complete garbage app, great work headspace team.

Meditations themselves are varied and super nice! Really reccomended it to whoever is new to mindfulness and would like an introduction to use and incorporate it into daily life. App interface and stability is getting better with latest updates. Would be nive if there was a feature to reset your progress within a mediation pack, even if you haven't fully completed it yet. Sometimes a meditation is cut off mid session due to connection issues by the app and i have to restart it.

Good app, but please please make a setting to turn off the haptic feedback when I press on buttons. I really don't like the sensation when I'm trying to relax.

Too expensive. And getting them to verify official documents to get the student discount? Impossible! SheerID rejects pretty much anything uploaded from a cell phone claiming its not official. You can't use your student email to verify, you have to upload a document. Why use a verification site that won't verify me by my school provided email and rejects every document uploaded? Thanks HeadSpace... guess I won't relax. School isn't stressful or anything..🙄

The content deserves 5 stars, and it's become an important part of my toolkit for managing either anxiety or nights where I can't sleep. However, the app has become very unstable lately - eg: if I play any track, I then have to clear out the cache before I can play anything else, otherwise I get 2 mins of audio before it crashes and infinitum. It also crashes when I jump to YouTube or a music app, or when I try to download anything for offline listening. Severely downgrading quality of the app

1 extra star as it could be and used to be pretty good but it has long since stopped syncing with Google Fit no matter what I try and now crashes mid session during most attempts to use it. Basically the app has been bricked by recent updates. edit 3/26: Another update and once again everything stops working. Just roll it back to the version from 12 months ago and then leave it alone!

The app is back to being good now that they've fixed the lag and crashing from the design update (at least for me). However, I still feel the app looks very busy now and reminds me of social media which I'm trying to avoid the stimulation of when getting on Headspace. The simpler layout was better, faster, and easier to navigate.

Changed phones and can't log in - asked for help, support has been working on it since January. The app creates new profiles based on email addresses if you use the wrong one and although they can bill you through Google play, they can't figure out how to get you logged into your account. I've had this account for +5 years.

Having concluded email Headspace support this past week, it seems there's no way to see or opt out of a coach using an AI chatbot when replying to me as a Headspace Care member. So I believe I will have to not use this for more than its existing content library because - beyond what I said and got back in above threads - I would have to disclose more particulars about what my friend circles are like than we're comfortable possibly having sent to such AI tool companies I can't verify at all.

Worked perfectly fine while I had a free trial to it's premium features, but lost access to EVERYTHING since cancelling it. I can't use a single feature now that I've cancelled my trial.

Your latest update yet again nuked my download section, it's all empty while the apps is taking up 4gb data. So those downloads are still there just not being listed. It frustrates me a lot that this happens regularly with the updates. Also why would you only let a user set very random set timers, 5 min or 500 min, How about let the user decide when the music should stop? it's freaking loop music anyways. + You can't make a playlist. Such basic futures but you didn't think about any of them.

Predatory app. Slow, messy UI and superficial content. Super hard to keep track of anything in the app. Gave up on it, never received an email before my subscription was extended. Contacted them immediately, explained that I am ill and unable to work at the moment, but they still refuse to cancel the extension. Wastes your time, stresses you out and leeches your money, so about the opposite of what anyone looking for a meditation app needs.

It's a damn good app with a huge library of sounds, meditations, useful mental health support routines, and plenty to be listening to when you need help getting to sleep. Unfortunately the app is HORRIBLY unstable, and it's not a big help when you wake up in the middle of the night, try to use the app for help getting back to sleep, and having to mess around with forced stops, resets, and cache clearances. A five-star app with one-star reliability.

Both me and my partner have had problems with this app. It sometimes just stop playing the audio randomly, which has the opposite effect of what the app is aiming to do! Then randomly it might start again many minutes later. very poor!

I have been a subscriber for years and have enjoyed this app and it's content. In 2026 I have experienced multiple app glitches that have ruined my user experience. Meditations stop several minutes in, courses do not automatically proceed to the next session, or I get logged out of the app mid meditation. All have been escalated to support with no solution besides "we are working on it keep your app updated to the latest version" for several months. I will not be purchasing another subscription.

2nd update: another week later. I have been reduced to using the YouTube meditations because I can't use the app. I loved the app and content for 6 years, but how much more can I take?! Update update March 2026: A week later, and I still can't use the app I paid a yearly subscription for. It won't let me open anything. It keeps saying "error you already have a subscription". I logged in and out and uninstalled the app. please help!

March 2026-app crashes constantly Many years ago I had a subscription to headspace and I found the app at that time really intuitive: easy to find courses and follow a pathway. Now, I feel like this app is packed with so much stuff (great!) but the stuff is everywhere, not organized in an intuitive way like before. I find it hard to find where I left off with a pathway, the app is always recommending content, but not where I left off with something. IMHO content=great. Interface=not great

The meditations are great, but it so insanely hard to find anything in the app. I started a guided program and the next day at first it showed on the today page but after that it disappeared and I can't find it. UX could be improved for searching and finding stuff, going back to programs you've started or previously done without having to favorite them.

Love the content but hate the rank amateur UI and basic functionality. They spend a lot of money on new content but either don't have a budget for functionality or have had someone incompetent in charge of that for years. Tracks will pause or crash partway through but there's no way to know while meditating until several minutes later when there haven't been any vocal instructions. More issues than the character limit here. Complaints to the scripted "empathic" customer support change nothing.

Awful app. I did not mean to purchase a subscription and now I'm being charged for a year with no refund options. I used this app for 3 days and hated the service and will never use it again. Yet I am being required to continue paying for it. Awful customer service. Stay far away - anyone with anxiety doesn't need extra stress.

Recently downloaded the app this week based on the Cigna recommendation. I'm getting the annoying emails asking me to do a daily check in. I go to do this today and the app keeps crashing. I wasn't looking for additional reasons to meditate and find my zen.

The app is not worth the subscription. It barely functions and sessions are constantly interrupted by pauses and skips. Some of the content is helpful but most sessions can be found for free online. The app settings also default to sharing and selling your personal data including information for targetted ads which is disappointing.

I've loved this app for years but unfortunately the sleepcasts have started crashing a few minutes in for the past few months. I've updated the app, made sure to have wifi on, I even bought a new phone thinking it was me but it still happens. Sadly if this doesnt get fixed soon ill have to cancel my subscription and delete the app which I REALLY don't want to do. Please fix this app!

I used to love this app. The meditations are great and really help me to get to sleep. I have been using this app for about 2 years with no issues until just before Christmas when it suddenly started switching off mid meditation. As soon as I unlock the app it starts playing again but this is not relaxing. Sometimes it stops playing during my sleep meditation and I cba to get up and put it back on, but then it turns back on randomly in the middle of the night and jumps me awake. Not a happy user

I downloaded this app because of issues with anxiety. Although not a 'fix all', the yoga exercises, mood music, bedtime stories, and all the other things offered really helped to neutralise and ground when my anxiety was getting bad to the point of freezing. I paid for it since it was about the price of a coffee out per month, and it has definitely been worth it
