The only option imo
Does this sync to anything I want? No. Do I enter everything in MF and manually copy it to other apps? Yes. Because the two that do sync are so terrible, I can’t even. MFP feels like sketchy malware, and the other option is almost as bad. I’d rather pay and do more work for a usable, non-annoying UX. I don’t currently use the strategy aspect (I have it elsewhere), and I *really* wish it had better integration.
Fasting
Fantastic app Nothing compares to this app in terms of macro tracking, but my I suggest adding in a fasting feature
Great “Lifestyle “ App
I’ve been using MacroFactor for a while now, and overall it’s been a very positive experience. What really stands out is how user-friendly the app is. The interface is clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate even if you’re new to calorie tracking. The algorithm is genuinely impressive—if you consistently log your daily weight and follow the recommendations, the adjustments feel very practical and personalized rather than generic. The coached program is especially helpful because it takes the guesswork out of dieting and keeps you on track. The AI features are a big plus and feel like a game changer. It does a great job recognizing commonly eaten foods, and the added AI comments make the experience even more useful. That said, you still need to be mindful—automatic weight estimates for foods can sometimes be off, so a quick check is worth it. One downside I’ve noticed is the search functionality. It can be difficult to find certain foods, especially non-Western dishes. While the AI helps bridge that gap to some extent, the standard search could definitely be improved. The only major reason I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is the lack of a free version. If there were even a limited free tier, this would easily be a 5-star app for me. Overall, MacroFactor is one of the most effective and well-designed nutrition apps I’ve used, especially if you’re serious about tracking and making data-driven progress.
Overall good, but confusing
The weight “average” is annoying. I want to see my actual weight, not trends or old data. On one page it says the weight from my scale, then on the trending page, it old information and “average”. You should be able to choose what you want to see, everyone has different goals. Average isn’t working for someone who is actively losing weight.
Could be better
Everything works great for the most part. However, creating a quick add and being able to edit it after is a hassle. Forced to remake it with the proper name.
Great App! However...
Please for the love of god make progress photos more easily accessable.
