Close to all you need
I’ve rated Gymverse 4 stars mainly because of the limitation around syncing custom workout plans to the Apple Watch. As someone who likes to build and follow structured routines, this is a feature that would really take the app to the next level. That said, everything else about the app has been great. The interface is clean, workouts are easy to track, and it does a solid job helping you stay consistent and focused during training. Logging sets and monitoring progress feels smooth, and overall it’s been a reliable tool in my workouts. If the custom plan syncing improves, this would easily be a 5-star app.
Great app
It has been great to track workouts and progress. Just wish it had iCloud support. When I switched to a new phone everything was lost
Works well, can out identical exercise in rows
App is good. Sometimes it puts the identical workout in a row. Have to manually change it. One would think it would have that figured out. No where I can find to email support with screenshots of this happening.
Review(Update issue with female/male plans)
Would have gotten 5 stars however, the male and female availability for workout plans is different, for example male plans have the push pull legs split and the female plans don’t. You would have to change your gender in order to see the different genders plan. All should be available without having to go in and change or customize your plans.
Great, but needs some work
Please add option to add and schedule guided stretching, ab and or cardio workouts to rest/off days. Also work on iPad/iPhone syncing. Also continue to build catalog for workouts and workouts equipment to stay relevant
Need more functional workouts
I wish this app offered more workouts for athletes. More plyometrics, explosive training, and quick twitch movements. Love the tracking. But workouts can start to feel stale and repetitive. Love they have continued to upgrade and make it better. But for the cost, they need more functional training for athletes.
Great app overall but room for improvement.
The app is great at helping you track your progress, but there are some basic machines and exercises that you can’t find in the app. Rotary torso machine for instance.
Supersets
Great app for tracking workouts and progress. I would love to see the ability to add more exercises to a superset. Right now the limit is set at 2.
