Difficulty Signing in on TV
Unable to login on TV through Apple Account. Developers please make it easier to access login for Apple subscribers.
Finally a stand alone app!
Unfortunately it only works half the time. Come on guys get my review to 5 stars! Fix the constant logout issues and the landscape full screen bug where it either works or it cuts off the score.
Xfinity
Why no login option for Xfinity?
Top/bottom area of video player is out of view when in full-screen. (Can’t see scoreboard)
Can’t see scoreboard when phone turned sideways. A big missing feature is the lack of ability to keep it playing in the background or while the screen is locked. iPhone 16 pro for reference.
AirPlay issues
Considering the overall thought and output of the app, it’s great! From someone who doesn’t want to pay for cable (DirectTv, Fubo), because let’s be real, $140+ a month to only watch the Astros seems a tad bit to high especially if you’re on a budget. That being said, this app is a saving grace for only $20 a month. However, I have had issues with AirPlay. I tried using AirPlay with my Samsung Tv (located in my living room) and let’s just say, it has been less than flawless. Casting on my other Tv, a Sony Tv, with a chromecast connected to it has been great. If they can fix whatever bugs AirPlay has with this app, I would rate it a little higher. AirPlay still works, however, it disconnects randomly. I tried resetting my Samsung Tv, tried playing with my AirPlay settings on my phone and I continue to have issues.
Watching on my phone
Half the time I’m trying to watch the rockets on my phone when i turn my phone sideways the scoreboard gets cut off so the only way I can see the score is by holding my phone vertically which is super annoying.
App is buggy and loses connection
App is buggy. Needs a lot of work. Stream cast isn’t as smooth as it should be, not worth the monthly price of 20$ if it’s going to be that buggy. Only have it bc YouTube tv doesn’t have SCHN
Decent
App seems laggy if that makes sense? But I like and use. Live ability to watch the Astros anywhere I go thank you.
Glitches
Downloaded to use on Roku. It glitches out like every 30 seconds or minute or so. Internet is fine.
Mixed bag
Terrible for Apple TV, but works well on IPad. On Apple TV, it is basically unusable, with ffw and rewind going forward and backwards at 20 minute intervals. Also, support is awful.
