I can run faster than this app does
Unacceptably slow, laggy and just a downright horrible experience. It’s the absolute bare minimum to stream a game.
Fanduel - Orlando (magic)
Not worth the money. App is as basic as it gets. Little to no content, very little videos, simplistic menu and the app always crashes on me. Whether it’s on my phone or a smart TV ( i travel and have tried it on several different devices and TVs) it always crashes. Weird layout, difficult to navigate, stats screen always pops up and although they have no control, lots of blackout games due to licensing plus no playoff coverage at all … I wouldn’t be so critical if it was $10 a month but $20 is highway robbery. Next season I’m just going to fork over the $60 a month for spectrum.
Cancelling is impossible
I’d just like you to stop taking my $20/month, but I find myself in a never ending circle of you telling me to do this through The App Store and then not seeing the damned subscription in The App Store. I want out. I don’t use your app or your services. Make it stop please.
Getting there
The app is getting better/more consistent across multiple devices. Still has some glitches and small details like the persistent banner on the side of the screen or the crowd cheering on the “We’ll be right back” screen - very annoying
Multiple Logins Required
I remember a time when you could login to Bally with only your cable provider. Fanduel forces you to have a login directly through them. No thanks, i have a million accounts already and it should br optional.
Horrible service
Paid all this money to not be able to watch a game because there is constant errors. I can’t wait for fanduel to go away for Detroit sports after this season. I hope this company disappears after losing more people.
Basic
This app feels as if an intern built it. On top of that, it doesn’t have a modern interface and feels clunky to navigate it. Top that with the 720p streaming quality, it’s hard to give it more than 1 star.
wouldn't own if i had another option for hockey
it always without fail crashes in the third period. it somehow becomes unsynced with the live stream some time during the second and it's very selective on what it wants to pair too as well. they say it covers all sports for your region but that's also untrue.
Cannot believe I pay for this
20 dollars a month to watch one team play 3 times a week. Half the time the site doesn’t even load or has technical difficulties. Crazy considering they’re milking Californian’s for this.

Absolutely the worst streaming app I’ve encountered
Not sure who they’re paying to put in these 4+ star reviews, but this is absolutely one of the worst streaming apps I have ever run into after many many years of I/T development experience. The app just drops off-line usually right near the end of a period and by the time you can get it to work again, it ends up in the intermission. It gets so screwed up. I often have to reboot my iPad to get it to work again. This may be the only streaming app where fast-forward and rewind do not show thumbnails of where you are in the broadcast. That makes much God forbid you have to rewind to see something you missed, and you end up in the middle of one of their commercial blocks. It won’t let you fast forward or rewind out of the commercial block, so you are stuck having to wait through the entire set of commercials, even though you’ve already had to endure them. About the only thing worthwhile in this app is the replays. Whoever owns this app needs to pry open the wallet and pay some professional developers to write their code.

If it’s this much of a hassle to even create an account I don’t even want to know how much this sucks when you actually pay them money. No wonder so many people pirate games from these crooks who all come out with streaming services. I’d rather pirate games than support a sports betting organization ran by the mob.

Just dropping back by to confirm for anyone who doesn’t know yet, that this is THEE WORST streaming sports provider ever. Everything. Login, password, streaming quality, all of it sucks. Not surprised at all that my hometown teams are leaving. What a joke.

Tired of the constant logging out and then not being able to log back in for weeks. If I could have left this with no stars I would have. Been a constant issue and stinks when I’m just trying to watch the Magic play. Get a functional app that keeps us logged in.
This app is frustrating
This app needs so much work, if I pause because I check a text message and I go back to the app it goes live doesn’t resume where I left off. Replays are not available right away you have to wait a few hours.
What a worthless app
Why is this even an app? There’s nothing in it and you can’t watch anything except a live game or recaps, where are the pregame and postgame shows? What waste of skin and bones designed this app?

In-game Functions
While the actual stream works great and casting as well, the side toggles (banner stats, list, and bet) hardly works. Sometimes you are not able to turn them off or if you turn them off you cannot reenable them. Please address this.

Detroit Sports use this network and it is absolute trash. It has been for a LONG time. It seems they have no care for the viewers experience and it seems to just get worse too. My program restarts by itself now whenever it goes to commercial... "We'll be right back." Then it's George Blaha talking and the players warming up behind him. I was just watching the 3rd quarter! Sounds like an exaggeration but this happens every. Single. Game.... The constant restarting and signing in every day is annoying. It is unbelievable at this point and ridiculous. Wish Detroit didnt cheap out. It is ruining the viewers experience

Fan duel ruined MN sports
Fanduel sports Network created a lock on all wild and timberwolve games. I pay for espn+ which allows anyone in the country to watch the wild expect people in MN. They also charge $19.99 which is double the price of ESPN+. This is a complete scam. Save yourself some money and Do not download this app!

Always logs me out daily. No I can’t even log in. When I try to connect my Xfinity account it just stops
Can’t get it to keep working
I have sent emails about it, deleted and reinstalled the app, emptied my memory cache, rebooted my wifi and router, could not even get the picture to move beyond black screen. Tried watching on my ipad, the sound just went out. WTH. This is a garbage streaming service. I am tired if missing games. I can’t count on this service at all. It’s time to contact the teams I try to follow. So frustrated!
Very frustrating
Have a subscription through Xfinity. It’s a 50/50 chance every time I want to watch a game whether it will actually work or not. I’ll log in with my Xfinity credentials and nothing will happen and when I click on the game again it asks me to log in again. Please fix your app.
Paying over $20/mo for Constant Frustration
It’s a extremely rare that this app works reasonably well. It does this weird thing where the screen bounces around from full screen to like a quarter screen and back again. If you miss something and want to go back 15seconds it might freeze up and you’ll miss a good chunk of a game. It’s an overpriced app that performs horribly
Stop forcing registration down our throats
If you’re going to push an update to force us to register new accounts to watch games you better make sure your basic account creation infrastructure works

Biggest scam ever it’s so laggy you can’t even watch a game. I canceled my subscription through the app and deleted the app little to know it didn’t actually end my subscription so I wasted paying 20 dollars a month for something I never used

Can’t believe this is a paid app
This is the glitchiest, crappiest app I’ve ever attempted to use. Imagine the greed it takes FanDuel to have the audacity to collect unimaginable amounts of money from sports fans and then use unpaid high school interns to design their app. I often have to uninstall the app to watch a game, I have yet to turn the app on and not be told “this event has ended” from a game I was watching 3 days ago, with no way to exit that screen and watch the currently playing game. If the TV app is non functioning and you try to cast from your phone, guess what? It’s impossible to cast from your phone and start the game from the beginning, you have to watch live. Even though you can rewind when watching on your phone and you have the option to watch from beginning on the app. But if the FanDuel universe smiles favorably on you and you manage to go through the entire install and log in process and get to the game, don’t you dare get behind the live game time because when the game ends your cast ends and the replay version isn’t available right away. Oh and just for kicks the preshow, game, and post show are all separate streaming events. And when there’s a commercial break you get to listen to mind numbing repetitive background noise of people cheering and clapping at a game that will make you want to take a hockey puck to the face. Anyway Go Wild.
Frequent Crashes
It’s nearly impossible to watch anything on a delay due to freezing and app crashes and even live viewing is interrupted at least once per game by a freeze or crash. One of the worst live streaming apps I’ve used.

Terrible app. Every time I go to watch a game I have to sign in and “connect with tv provider”, and most of the time it’s a battle! I think they want it that way to try to get you to pay for app even thought I pay through tv provider! Hate it and with there was another way to watch games!!
Very disappointed
FanDuel constantly goes out. I can’t trust this streaming platform to stream a full game without difficulties. Fix your mistakes and fix them now because I’m paying a lot of money to have this as my only option to watch my teams play.
Rip Off
Forced to use the service just to watch the hockey game only to miss most of it due to technical difficulties, random adds (even after paying $20/month to use) plus other issues. Massive waste of money. Just a gambling app. Shouldn’t be replacing a sports streaming service. Paying money to have access just to miss everything important is insane. Let ESPN stick to streaming and you stick to gambling FanDuel
tvOS 26.2 broke the Apple TV app
The whole signin process has been wonky for a long time, but the recent tvOS 26.2 seems to not be able to grab tv provider info from your account - and then when you try to activate it again it gets an error because your tv provider is already in your account. I have another Apple TV 4K with 26.1 and it’s fine.
The worst viewing experience
As a Cavs fan this app shuts down, restaurants, disconnects, its useless. Its a same Im force to watch home games with this app unfair to fan!

All the same terrible experienced from the Bally Sports App are still here but at least the logo is not blue…
Video never works
I have never submitted a review for anything before but this is the worst app ever created. Nearly impossible to watch sports due to the number of error messages that pop up. Spend your money on league pass or prime video.
