I used to love this app but when I clicked the restore purchase button to get access to premium it doesn't recognize it. they won't restoree my purchase. I paid back in 2015 and loved it but now it doesn't recognize that I ever purchased anything. kind of shitry way to treat early adopters and believers.

this app WAS fine for years until you whackjobs decided that smart alarm would now be a premium feature, but that I could keep it for free if I logged in. So I did, and it turns out it's not free! It's still locked behind a paywall. Did I just hand some random company my health data on false promises? EDIT: it's back to how it was originally. Thank you Sleep Cycle for listening. 5 stars for now.

Best app i ever discovered.... It not only presents me with statistics but also manages the wake up alarm through its Light sleep detection.. Just a chef's kiss ..

Completely disappointed after purchasing this app. It shows me constantly sleeping throughout the night, even though I know I was awake to use the bathroom and let the dog out. my watch tracks me being awake during those periods, but this app shows no movement or noise. Yes I have the permission on for microphone and have turned on the sensors in the watch app. So disappointed with this purchase.

it doesn't work when the fan or ac is on, in middle east and asia we have long summer hence ac and fans at night are common so it should work accordingly. i want refund

no way to turn off the notification ads for premium. i did not sign up for my alarm clock to buzz me with ads. this app was so handy. too bad though, uninstalled. not coming back.

App is good for most measurements of sleep, though sometimes it does not recognize when I wake up in the middle of the night. It shows as if I slept through the whole night incorrectly. Other than that, I like the app.

very good sleep tracking. no experiences with rogue ads popping up.

- i find i sleep better without it. - it misjudges time taken to fall asleep at least twice per week. if it gets that wrong, what reason is there to be confident that it really knows when youre in deep sleep? i asked for a refund but did not get one.

I've been using this app for years without issue. Almost a decade. However, I just received a notification to prompt me to get the premium version. I've been using this app all this time because it hasn't pestered me to do so.

not kidding but app really works to wake you up in amazing manner that you do nit feel asleep after wake up. because of their patent technology it worked for me. i was strugguling to wake up very early in morning but not able to wake up, tried many apps but none worked perfectly . watched sleep cycle app on youtube recommendetion and give it a try and it worked very very 100% perfectly. hats off to developers and engineers of this app. loved this app so much. thanks !!

I used to be able to use the "wake up easy" alarm clock function for free, and it was incredibly handy. All of a sudden it becomes locked behind a paywall and I can't use it anymore. This is really scummy done, in my opinion.

I use it mainly for the smart alarm, while the sleep tracker is neat and all but I don't really care about that. What made me decide to give this a one stat is because they decided it was smart to make a core feature locked behind paywall.

don't bother downloading for the smart alarm sleep cycle alarm setting unless you are willing to pay for premium. App stopped the free sleep cycle alarm function without warning. now just normal alarm unless you pay.

I was using this as an alarm for years and the smart alarm was a nice feature. The only free thing it gave you. Suddenly tonight I went to set the smart alarm like I do every night and discovered they now made it a paid feature... Disappointing. They need to fix their sales model. They don't even offer a free trial. Maybe if I actually tried out the paid features first I would have started paying. They only have an annual billing option too.

Bedtime reminder not working.

They are slowly removing features and putting them behind a pay wall. I used to pay for this app, but had to temporarily cancel my subscription until i can afford to budget it. They removed the ability to have a "wake-up window" in the free version, so I guess I will be deleting the whole thing and not paying again in the future. I have recommended it to many people and it is disappointing to see them cutting corners wherever they have to squeeze people into paying. Otherwise it works fine.

latest update 17/03/2026 now this smart alarm is only for premium user. might as well uninstall and just use normal alarm getting more inaccurate after so much updates. Alarm once I turn off, it still sounds until I go back to the main page where you can set the alarm

They just subscription pay-walled the Smart Alarm, one of the primary and most popular functions of the app, which costs them nothing. Thankfully "Sleep as Android: Smart Alarm" also has this feature so I've switched and not looking back. Beware of these developers, they'll remove features in attempt for more profit.

I have used this app for over 10 years. The most recent update is the final straw. After a decade, you lock the smart alarm behind the premium subscription??? It's the literal first and only feature I started using this app for because it's the ALARM that TRACKS your SLEEP CYCLE. What a shame to see an app reduced to pure garbage!

Great app

I don't like keeping my phone next to me so I charge it across the room (so I stay off of it). It says this is available for a Tablet, however, when I try to download it on my tablet, I can't find it in Google Play. I already signed up for the free trial so I'm going to try it on my phone for at least tonight, but I REALLY want to use it on my Tablet. If I can't, I won't be purchasing.

I was not given a chance or warning before the year subscription kicked in. I wanted to test the app for longer than a month, especially over daylight savings, before I purchased. Today I, with no warning, had a charge for the next year.

They store all your health data encrypted (they can read it at any time) on their servers, and they may use it for legal requests (e.g. from police or government). They store your health data up to one year after you delete the app. You CAN'T simply request to delete your data, you need to be eligible to do it. Considering it's made in Sweden, this app is a privacy nightmare. Wake up.

It was an amazing app, I have the premium plan however on my new phone Galaxy S26 Ultra it has a huge bug, doesnt work. Hope soon this bug can be fixed.

I don't want to pay year and I think it's a bit ridiculous.I don't have the option to pay monthly.

Really good app. I highly recommend this app.

Totally ineffective. 1) recorded me as sleeping when I was cleaning the fridge and taking my tesco delivery in while chatting with my parents. 2) phone then decided to delete that and record sleep, but inverted the times: woke up at 6, that was when it recorded my deepest sleep. 3) App refuses to download to watch, no issue with any others.

I don't believe is it accurately tracking what is happening. I was up from 4am, on my phone, and it has me as deep sleep throughout.
