I want to cancel my subscription before my trial ends tomorrow. I decided it isn't for me but I am unsure how to cancel before the payment comes out.

Hey Steve! You can cancel your trial in Google Play: open the Play Store, tap your profile icon, go to Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions, select the app, and tap Cancel subscription. That stops the payment, and your trial will stay active until it expires tomorrow. Hope this helps.
App has potential... BUT doesn't offer the ability to connect with my Bluetooth Smart Scale. Deleted, maybe next time...
