absolute trash. pretty sure the Flintstones had better technology to count steps than this app that doesn't work.

it's not tracking my walking and it's affecting other apps that supposed to track my walking and earn points for it I'm connected to it's a problem that's been happening for 2 days now. everything connected and allowed so this shouldn't be a problem but it is.

app constantly crashes when trying to track workout. Doesn't even open sometimes when I close and exit out of it. Extremely bad user experience.
it says you get a certain amount of heart points then it just halfs them
I don't understand why google fit can no longer sync data with fiton app, or any other workout app I have. I have to find something else for accurate heart points.
Was told it was a good app to record heart rate...it isn't.
i love the app, but for some reason, this keeps on closing itself. i tried uninstalling and then reinstalling, but it's not working. app closes on its own. it's not a problem with mobile storage either. i have tried clearing the cache of the app as well. but the app still closes on its own.

I use Google fit to calculate my steps but I didn't realise that it also calculates calories burned. Apparently 986 steps burns 202 calories - which combined with MyFitnessPal, adjusts my daily calorie allowance, meaning I've been grossly over eating for weeks. There doesn't seem to be a way to let other apps calculate the calories and just use Google Fit as a step counter. I'm disconnecting it from MyFitnessPal and looking for another option. According to Reddit it's been a problem for 3 years.

Very disappointed with Google Fit. I walk around 5,000–10,000 steps daily, but the app fails to track them properly. Many times, it doesn’t count steps at all or shows incorrect data. I’ve already checked permissions, battery settings, and updates—everything is in place, yet the issue continues. This makes the app unreliable and defeats its entire purpose. Please fix this ASAP. A fitness app that can’t track steps accurately is unacceptable.

I WAS using it to track my activity. it stopped tracking anything at all months ago for no reason no matter how many times I try fixing the settings. it's just a waste of storage now
yesterday i came to Tirumala by walking from Srivari Mettu and steps giving ok but where it comes to HEART POINTS it gave 0 points as i was sitting in between and my walk is Not continuous.

can I give it ZERO stars? this has to be the worst app from the Google family. How can Google, with all it's innovations and market leading apps, can something as basic as a step-counter wrong? And, can someone please explain how in this world can my step count go down - as Google Fit seems to be doing everyday?
coming from ios this is like 99% of Android apps, a bad joke. of my fitbit counts 10k steps, why on earth this app counts like 7k when synchronized??? as I said, a really bad joke

This app is EXTREMELY inconsistent with its tracking. It DOES NOT calculate all my steps. And "Help and Feedback" is NO help at all. VERY FRUSTRATING!
absolutely pathetic app that's getting deleted. Definitely nowhere near accurate. 5001 steps before I've even got out of bed and phone and smartwatch was definitely turned off. Unfortunately it won't allow a ZERO stars. Poor very poor app
