The step count is inaccurate. this morning as usual I had about $7,600 steps and it said I had 3.3 mi logged and then later when I passed 8,500 steps it said that I had 2.2 mi logged. not worth using

I have been using this app for the last one whole month but the problem that I have faced with this is that if I am walking 5000 steps in the afternoon and burning like around 342 calories and then I am again walking 5000 step after my dinner again checking it shows me that I have only walked around for 16 minutes and burn around 47 calories which is not true because the when I am checking the main you know where you will show the 10000 steps there I have worked 8000 steps so I find that this is

I'd love to see a desktop or web version of Google Fit in the future. Having access to my fitness data on a larger screen would make it so much easier to review long-term trends, analyze detailed statistics, and plan my training — things that are harder to do comfortably on a phone.

Works great for tracking steps but apparently you have to open it frequently? My last recorded steps were Feb 19, it's Mar 29 now. A little peeved by that but I guess it doesn't matter since I only care about steps on specific days of the week.

Needs TWO new activities: 1. Ebike riding (should have basic adjustable parameters, to set up various - usually five - pedaling assistance modes (PAS). 2. Mowing the lawn, with PUSH mower option - this, on average, burns a lot more calories than simple walking. Thank you!

Regularly counts driving as "steps". Multiple drives to the market or train station (as backed by Google map data) were counted as "walks" that I had to manually sort through and remove.

can I give it ZERO stars? this has to be the worst app from the Google family. How can Google, with all it's innovations and market leading apps, can something as basic as a step-counter wrong? And, can someone please explain how in this world can my step count go down - as Google Fit seems to be doing everyday?

Useful piece of software... Works generally well, at least for me and my droids (R2-D2 & C-3PO), with a little help from GeminAI... and Tasker. Whenever I go out (of my home) for any reason (to buy something from nearest shop or spend some time with my male cat in nature), one of them (Galaxy series A smartphones, in fact) watches us from the sky (through GPS sattelites), while the other carefully counters every step (or move, via accelerometer) of mine.

Not sure any thought has been given in designing charts. For example, considering 80/120 is considered normal blood pressure, I would expect the horizontal marker lines to be at every tens (e.g., 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 110, 120, 130, 140, 150, 160) and not at some random (e.g. 75, 105, 135). A thoughtfully designed graph can help users whether they are in healthy range overtime (and if not, how far they are).
