Suggestion
The app itself is useful but if they could add support for garmin connect it could improve its use.
What makes the Nike Run Club app great for me
The Nike Run Club app encourages everyone to run and stay healthy every day while maintaining competition
Worthless for tracking on the treadmill
I used the app for a while like 7-9 years ago, pretty much (if not entirely) exclusively for outdoor runs, so maybe this has always been an issue, and I just never had occasion to notice it, but in these past couple of weeks doing a few indoor runs, the app is hardly able to detect that I’m moving most of time, never mind track speed and distance accurately. That of course, screws up any stats the app is trying to keep for me, and if I cared about challenges and stuff, I’d essentially be punished for correcting the numbers, because manual edits mean your runs doing count toward those things. Pretty screwy. Works (mostly) fine otherwise, but failing so miserably at something the app claims to be able to do is a pretty giant flaw in my book.
Siri start a run help
Anyone else having trouble when having headphones in a asking Siri to start a run with NRC and it says “Sorry, you’ll need to continue in the app” please help
Great app but please fix audio bug
After pausing the audio guide when instructed, the audio guide doesn’t start playing. I hear the play/pause audio but the guided part doesn’t resume. This is from a downloaded watch workout connected to my AirPods.

Best app for beginners
Zero stars
Hard to get any help for this app. I like to take notes on my run so I can look back and see what worked or what changed to improve my runs but this stupid app keeps erasing my notes. Also it’s completely inaccurate on a treadmill. I had to run OVER 4 miles for it to even register me running a 5k. So my times were way off. NOT RELIABLE. Messes up your data.
What an app!
This app is awesome. Free to use so far, and it tracks a lot. Even compatible with Apple Watch! If you’re contemplating on downloading, here’s your sign to download it.
Nike Run Club Is DOPE !!
It has everything someone would need to keep up with Runs & Workouts. It helps you Focus on what’s important each day & it helps you get better & more Focused on Health & Fitness. At the end of the DAY it helps US GET STUFF DONE !!!!
If you hate running, you should download this
I don’t feel it’s hyperbole to say Coach Chris Bennett’s guided runs changed my life. Pre-app ,despite my repeated attempts, I couldn’t seem to crossover from every run feeling like a demoralizing beat down. I’m a little over a month into an 8-week plan and running 3 miles is already easier than running 1 mile ever was for me. It’s incredible the app is truly free. It’s not free to download and then once you get in the app have to pay to use the majority of features. I’m amazed at the fact I actually feel coached. Cannot say enough good things. I enjoy running!?!??
Bad GPS
For the last few weeks the app keeps losing GPS lock making my run an absolute mess - for years this was flawless- is anyone else having this issue??
Running Therapy
I've had this app for forever and while I primarily use a different app for training now, I always come back to the NRC app for one thing, the guided runs, particularly the ones by coach Bennett. I don't know how they do it but there's gotta be a guided run for just about any life situation under the guise of running advice. I think it would be impossible to listen to a guided run and walk away from it not inspired or contemplating a new POV on life or a tough situation. I think every runner should throw in some guided runs into their training, if for nothing else a little (or a lot) of motivation.
Bring back distance display while running
I’ve used this app for years and have recommended it to countless people. It’s always been my go-to running app. But on my run today, I noticed something incredibly frustrating… Nike Run Club no longer shows your current distance while you’re actively running. I had to keep pausing my run just to check how far I’d gone. That’s a basic feature that should always be front and center. This change makes the app much less practical during an actual run. Unfortunately, I may have to delete this app if I no longer have the ability to see my current distance on runs.
runs don’t match plan
I am doing the half marathon training plan, and the app worked wonderfully for the first 11 weeks, but in the last two weeks, I select runs from the plan but then the run does not match the title. For the 7 mile run in the second to last week, the app starts a 7 minute run. For the 2 mile recovery run in the last week, it then started a 1.25 mile run. It’s easy enough to just manually start a separate workout with the planned distances/times, but a big selling point of this app is those pre-planned runs, so having them completely wrong defeats the purpose.
Love this app
Nike Run Club has been a game changer for my friend group. The monthly mileage tracking keeps us all accountable and adds a fun, competitive edge that pushes everyone to get better. It’s simple, easy to use, and makes it easy to see each other’s progress. Overall, it’s helped us stay consistent, connected, and improving together. Highly recommend.
Great app
I’ve been using this app since 2021 when I got into running. It is a beautiful app especially for beginners or people getting back into running with guided runs that help you foster a stronger and more positive mindset around healthy running habits. The app has always been easy to navigate and I’ve tried other running apps and I always return to NRC because I just haven’t found anything better. Guided runs-race trainings- achievement badges- accurate tracking. I couldn’t ask for a better app and the cherry on top ALL FOR FREE!! 💕
Can’t even long in
Had this app on my old phone but won’t log into my account on my new phone. Even with email and password I have to submit a verification code that never comes to my email. Extreme waste and there is no other way to get into the account. Apparently this is a known problem and I did all the things recommended still can’t get the email verification code smh
Incompatible with Podcasts
Have used this app for years. I love it for many reasons despite its issues. I don't think this has always been this bad, but I may have to stop using it because: Podcast volume is reduced dramatically while using the app. I use podcasts to help with Long Runs and now it's not even worth playing any. I was hoping this issue would be fixed, but I've gone several months now and still no fix. Thanks for the runs Coach Bennet ✌️ I'll consider coming back when podcasts are usable again.
Amazing
Amazing app, it is absolutely great. It helped me started running and run better. Thanks to all the plans and coach benett, i am such a better runner now. It is 100% must get. Amazing. And its fully free!
Great running app
I’d give it 5 stars but the coaches talk WAY too much during the runs and you don’t hear your music. I like the running plans and the lay out of the app. I’d like to see it track heart rate and have audio warnings when leaving one zone for another.
I wanted to badly to like this app
I credit the playlists from Nike Run Club coaches for helping get me back into running. They’re doing a great job. The three stars are for them. Unfortunately the basic features of NRC don’t work at all. The number of speed runs I have done where the app has captured no pace or a pace of 78 minute miles is embarrassing. YES the gps is working fine. It tracks me as going faster when I’m in the recovery interval, walking. I am trying to track my progress. This is incredibly demotivating. These are basic features for a fitness tracker. I’m deleting — and I resent having to lose all my data.

5 starts app
This app is great. I appreciate the concept and the community it provides. I’m a 2-3 times a week runner so Nike supports me in motivation and guidance
Over a Decade
I’ve been using this app for a long time so I remember when they use to allow us to put the tracker in our shoes for the special Nike+ sneakers. I loved the concept of better accuracy from the shoe tracker but I still use this app for all my running and walking needs.
Amazing!
Been using Nike for over 10 years now. I had it back with the original TomTom and Nike running watch where you had to plug it into Itunes.
Loveee but…
Okay soooo think about the many apps there is out there in competition with this Nike one, NIKEEEE there’s room for improvement more social media interaction, better insights, GARMINNNN is a huge one but I can’t use it with Nike app, but other apps do… I love this app but I know there’s more Nike can do to improve the running athlete

Not actually tracking my pace
Not tracking my pace. My Apple Watch and treadmill have me at a pace of 11min /mile and this tracked me at 16 min/mile?
Good basic running app
Been using this app for a while love it nothing too complicated, would be nice to see more rewards and more of running network community type of vibe.
Too flawed to be primary
The running programs on this app are excellent; the coached, structured-but-flexible itinerary are some of the most effective ways to help me meet my fitness goals. I do wish there was an in-between option for the coached runs that only interrupt to signal and count down intervals so I can listen to podcasts or audiobooks. But the app has been so frustratingly flawed to be my primary app. The auto pause will pause and then not resume, causing me to not record until I realize a mile and a half later. The program will tell me to *manually* pause to stretch but then unpause automatically with the slightest movement. The app repeatedly paused today when I tapped to toggle back to imperial measurement, then switched back to metric when I unpaused. Why bother with a setting when it just ignores my preference? I wish this app weren’t so glitchy. How has Strava figured it out and Nike hasn’t yet?
Accountability
This app is amazing in motivating and holding you accountable to your workouts. Easy to use and fun to watch progress and see metrics met !
Best running app there is
This is a convenient, no-nonsense app for tracking your runs. The guided runs are well designed and a great way to get into running as a beginner. Coach Bennett is a great cheerleader!
Learning to love running!!
I really like this app. The one thing I didn’t like is when it’s time to update the site it does not save your current information and there is no warning whatsoever that you need to update! It just happens and that is it!
Free app love it
Was looking for an app to track my walks. I’m not a habitual runner so I was looking for a freebie… found a few but as soon as I opened the app they showed their free trial period and the fee thereafter. Downloaded this one upon a google recommendation and it’s totally awesome. Thank you Nike!
Funny
It’s fun
Glitching
I used to love this app and used it to track runs for the last 5 years. Everything is up to date. But lately it has been glitching and not tracking my runs correctly. It stops randomly and won’t track. The time doesn’t even move up. Very frustrating 😡
Life changingly helpful.
I thought I knew how to run. Then I got Coach Bennet in my ear, and suddenly running is fun and it doesn’t feel so difficult.
Fall from grace
This used to be the best app there for running - hands down. But lately it’s always glitching, out of synch and barely any new content new plans nothing. I’ve begrudgingly come to accept that I need to move on and find another app
Love This App
I love Nike Run Club! I love that I can listen to my favorite tunes while I walk through city and it records my moves. But the best part is connecting with my family as we do monthly challenges. The friendly competition inspires me to be consistent and do my best! I recommend this app to everyone. I like the messages that play after every workout and I love the that I have a place where all my workout information is stored. This app really makes working out fun!!! 💕
Loving Running!
It’s the reason I strive!
Really great still growing
I love the app. Just wish I could switch the guide off if I change my mind mid run, without stopping the run. This app also needs an ai to discuss diet/exercise/running gear with. Every other app has a specialized ai now. Xbox has copilot, my kids sleep app “huckleberry” has an ai called Barry and it’s good with figuring out how to tackle naps/schedule.
I LOVE THIS APP
This app is A M A Z I N G, but one feature that’ll make it more outstanding would be being able to chat with our Nike Run Club friends maybe that can be added?
Love it but could be even better
I love this app and use it to track all my runs. The coaching feature was fantastic when I was starting out, it gave me a clear path into the sport and really helped me build confidence as a new runner. That said, I’ve been experiencing a bug lately where tracking stops mid-run. The timer keeps going, but no data is being recorded, which means I’m losing stats from my runs. I’d also love a middle-ground coaching option. Right now it feels like it’s either full silence or constant check-ins every 30 seconds. That frequency was perfect when I was learning, but now I’d prefer something more spaced out, still supportive, just less frequent so I can get into my own headspace during tough moments. Overall still a great app , just hoping these get sorted!

Not for Sprinters
I have been having a good experience with this app until I try to sprint. I’m not an Olympic sprinter but I can sprint pretty fast. Its very discouraging whenever I’m doing a guided run and it ask me to go fast (mile pace or faster). I run fast and when I go to review, it’s always the slowest pace of my entire run. I go to look at the travel log and it says for those 30 or 45 seconds, I didn’t move then glitch to 200 meters away. I’ve learn to look past this and continue to use the app. Just wish that part worked better.
GPS accuracy way off compared to other apps
The accuracy on the gps is all over the place. Especially when you stop and restart your run, other apps don’t have this problem
Not accurate
It’s a good app but it’s not accurate. I ran a 10k leprechaun dash and the app estimated that I only ran 4 miles. I give it a 2.5 stars if that were possible
Nike X Strava
I love the way Nike can also record your run on strava - that way I’m not forced to choose between the 2. Also coach Bennett is amazing!
Used to be great.
This app single handedly got me into running but lately it’s been riddled with bugs. Even with the auto-pause feature off the app will stop recording your run. Also it will randomly lower the volume of your music even when the coaches aren’t talking. Hopefully some updates come out to fix this. I was planning on using it for my half In a month but now I’ll probably have to find another app.
