By being able to set reminder/schedule times, this is a reset that is just right for when I have a moment and need an adjustment.
AI slop, not relaxing
I really wanna like this app but I’ve had multiple bad experiences with it. You’re much better off just pulling up a meditation on Spotify or YouTube. My main issue is a lot of the “coaches” and “content creators” seem to be AI. Their phrasing and voices don’t sound natural. How am I supposed to relax when a bot made the meditation?? On top of that, I listened to sleep hypnosis from one particular creator and had a nightmare that a demon was chanting over my body in my sleep. If Aura can’t deliver on quality, human-made content then why bother paying so much, it’s worthless.

My Aura
I love so many things about Aura. This app has so much to offer, a lot of which I haven’t even tried yet, after a years worth of experience with it. My arm hurts from my torn rotator cuff, so I add more good stuff later. The only big issue I have with this app is it’s hard for me to navigate - find what I’m looking for. Why isn’t there a search option?? I’m often looking for something specific, like 432hz sounds, to help me relax and calm. I deal with pain levels 7-9 almost daily. My head is always pounding on the right side, with sharp pain searing my eye and temple. I have pinched C5-7 discs in my neck, broken shoulder/arm, and daily migraines- all on my right side. Typing this has increased my pain by 2 points 😫 Please make it quicker and easier for me to jump to what I need. Thx🙏
A LIFE ALTERING DISCOVERY
I have been using Aura for 3 days. Unfortunately, I am going through an extremely stressful time in my life and I suffer from extreme anxiety and hopelessness. The tracks I have been listening to on Aura have helped enormously in reducing my anxiety level, helping with sleep and decreasing my level of hopelessness. Try it!

This app has all you need. I have been a dedicated user for years. Sadly, my subscription is ending in 5 days and I am unable to renew! Finances are tight and spouse is unemployed! Classic steal your data and then make you pay
This app promises a lot, but by the time you’ve gotten through their forced menus at the beginning, you’re left with nothing. It’s nice that they have paid stuff, but they could say that upfront. Instead, they offer a bunch, ask a bunch and then deliver little while asking for your money.
Total scam avoid
Canceled and ended subscription before free trial ended but was charged 129.00. Google voice customer service number is all you need to know.

Just way too much
I saw this advertised on a social media app and said it was like Spotify for mental health. I’m like well ok I’ll give it a whirl. I did the one month trial (which you have to pay for I thinking was $4.99) but did not utilize it much to warrant the $70 yearly fee. So before my trial ended I cancelled and I didn’t realize the app offers NOTHING if you aren’t paying. I did like some of the sounds offered to listen to while falling asleep. Every single one is locked. I’m so tired of these apps that try to say they aim to help with mental health, sleep, meditation etc but not without a hefty fee. Yes to some $70 annual isn’t a huge deal but they don’t even offer a monthly subscription option. It just doesn’t seem worth it to me so I’ll be deleting the app since again, unless you’re paying it’s completely non functional.

I forgot to turn off the free trial so stuck for a year. Every meditation begins with a proclaimer this is aura- very distracting. Very pushy on advertising and make it hard to cancel. I also don’t like any of the voices or words. Very stilted and weird passages like ai wrote them. Update- didn’t like calm either bc the meditations are good but all very short. Really liking Headspace though.

I tried to cancel the subscription I didn’t even know I had until my credit card was charged. No notification of upcoming renewal. I contacted Aura immediately to no avail. I’m stuck with this bill. I canceled my credit card to avoid these thieves from charging me again. STAY AWAY!!!! This company deserves to go out of business. Taking money from an 81 YO WIDOW. They have no conscience. I am ill but as soon as I recover I’m contacting the FTC to report their failure to allow cancellation of this unwanted subscription.

Ripoff
Wished a free trial as advertised and was immediately informed I was charged as I used a free trial over a year ago that I had no memory of. When I attempted a cancel and refund within a few days I was refused. So I’m stuck with this weak ridiculous subscription that I am now going to delete. I should have been notified I did not qualify for a free trial and why before I was automatically charged for a year. Lowlife ripoff.

Looks like an amazing app visually. Same old story though, have to commit to a 7 day trial just to try anything in the app. In the end there were other options that I found to replace this app.

I have tried many apps for falling asleep and for meditation and relaxation. This is by far the best app I have found.

It’s been two days so I don’t have a great amount of experience but I’ve enjoyed the app so far. Will update when I have more to say. As of right now, you will likely get out of it what you are willing to put into it.

If you want something to be successful, then it needs to work. If customers can’t access their full subscription and keep getting asked to sign up after they’ve already paid in full. This only creates frustration and disappointment and leads to cancellations. I suggest improving your system.
