Can’t sign in DO NOT USE
Ive tried to sign in and my username is showing as Null null. When I tried contacting their support their LLM routed my support request to headspace care their premium service and the response was your email associated with your account isn’t associated with a premium account and at this point has ghosted me from a response. I can’t get into the app itself to make it a premium account because I’m hard locked out. Do not expect any support they have outsourced it to AI mostly.
Idiotic Coding
I signed for a 1 yr sub, so obviously I was intensely interested. Started with the Sleep sessions. Finished the first. Tried to move on to 2d. Couldn’t, despite visual confirmation I’d completed all steps in Session 1. I signed up to learn how to alleviate stress, not become your sitting duck for unnecessary irritants per abject failure to code intelligently. Canceled sub. Moved on to Insight Timer.
Everything is locked behind subscription
Quite literally everything is locked behind a subscription so you your downloading the app for no reason if you just want a nice meditation app. Reviews may be botted or bad reviews deleted.

Stop trying to trick users in to using the AI chatbot
The home row is constantly swapping icons around in an effort to get users to accidentally start a conversation with their AI chatbot named Ebb. It’s INCREDIBLY ANNOYING. There is so much great content on this app, stop trying to force AI down our throats.

Shortcut broken
I use a shortcut to launch the daily meditation but it’s been broken by the latest update?
Coaching will drop you if you’re in crisis
Probably fine if you just need some mindfulness, but they claim to offer mental health coaching and what they don’t tell you is that they will only help you if you’re having mild symptoms. They will literally deactivate your account if you’re in crisis. Also, if your insurance (like Kaiser) pays for your account, they will tell them everything you say without asking your permission or informing you.
Be ready to pay for everything in the app, nothing is free
Was looking for a free app to help with my sleep schedule, but as soon as you open the app, nothing is available unless you pay. Just a scam, all they want is money
Terrible support
Support has been “working” for weeks now to resolve an issue I have linking my health insurance company to the app for purposes of claiming a benefit that my insurer provides for free headspace. Totally useless and a massive time suck. Great app - terrible support, awful rollout of a massive partnership with a major insurance carrier. So ironic that a meditation app causes so much frustration for their users.
Stay Away
My insurance dropped them as a company and HS kept my daughter’s appointment and billed me for it. Then they charged me for a second appointment that I cancelled in plenty of time. I can not delete my account with them and just have to keep an eye on the app to make sure they don’t try and continue to make appointments and bill me for them
Immediately charged for 1 yr w/o getting the 14 day trial
I honestly don’t know if my sleep will benefit from this app because while I was signing up for the 14 day trial I received a notification from my bank that it was charged $76.11 for the subscription . I am so annoyed! I have tried other sleep apps with varying degrees of success and in pursuit of trying to get a good nights sleep I thought I would try this one. The 14 day trial seemed perfect and if it was beneficial I would have absolutely purchased the year however now I have to somehow not be annoyed when I try to use the app tonight. And then what if it doesn’t work for me, I’m out $76 with no recourse? Great.

Here’s an app to help manage your anxiety but whatever you do do not forget to cancel your free trial 9 hours late! Disgusting behavior. I was refused a refund to my surprise, and this company is about self care? Absolutely shameful. Do NOT use.
Charged be when I canceled and never refunded me
They charged me 100$ after I did a full cancel and I didn’t get a refund after reaching out to support.
So glitchy, freezes daily
After a meditation session, half of the time the app freezes. You have to restart it and your session wasn’t saved. I’ve sent in multiple support tickets, been an issue for a year.
Chat limit?
I paid for a year and when I did there wasn’t a chat limit. Over the weekend out of the blue there’s a 30 minute chat limit on Ebb. How can they just enforce a chat limit out of the blue like that? That’s not what I paid for. I never agreed to the new terms. What BS! If I could give zero stars I would. Disgusting… really….
Recent changes are not good
Why did you get rid of your widget? Why did you name the app so much harder to use? It was wonderful and I was a paying user for over five years, but then the app became too much hassle and seems to have stopped caring about the users.
I don’t wanna pay for everything
I downloaded this app thinking I would be able to regulate my anxiety with it. It was free wo download, but to acess any of the features of this app, you have to get a free trial, or pay. It is bassiclally designed to take your money. It’s a scam! I would give it 0 stars if I could!!!!
