I've been trying to cancel..what a joke.
Casting from an Android phone is beyond glitchy to the point that it doesn't work. 1. You shouldn't have to pay $20 a month to watch your local baseball team. 2. If you do pay the $20 your experience should be seamless. Please fix your app!! 🙏
doesn't work on majority of tvs/ devices. and if it actually does, it'll freeze a dozen times in one game >:(
No LG TV support! I cut the cord for cable and bought this app directly, only to be stuck watching on my phone since the app somehow doesnt support a major tv manufacturer in 2026. Unacceptable
Casting function is broken, and no app for Google tvs. Wish the Cubs would drop this money grab and give us a normal way to watch since they can't get it right.
Buffering, slipping, vocals not matching actions. Having to stop and restart. Several times per game. And that's IF you can get the cast button to even show up.
There's no Google TV support, so you have to use Chromecast. Casting is very flaky. Have to restart it multiple times.

Marquee & Hoyer are not reading reviews or do not care. fix the chromecast. Use the $20/month from your subscribers & fund a development & testing team to move the application into the 21st century. Screen mirroring is not the correct way to cast. Get the casting to work on android, or work with the other application vendors (prime, etc) to allow them to show your games without stuttering. If you're not willing to do these things, then direct people to purchase subsc. from Prime or other.

I want to cancel but for some reason doesn't show up in my subscriptions.
the app dropped it's Chromecast support that was bad last year but now is non existent
horrible. billing me faithfully but now telling me I dont have a subscription when I try to watch a game.
Even with subscription, app continues to tell me I need to subscribe to watch. 3 unanswered phone calls to Marquee, and 1 very unproductive chat with Gladys. Very disappointing.
2026 Update: While we've finally gotten casting support, it's still the bare minimum a subscription video service app could have. The feed will crash if you don't leave the app open on your phone. Even if you do, it will still stall out multiple times during a game, or the audio will fall out of sync. As much as I'd like to continue begging for a true Google TV app, years of performance neglect from Marquee lead me to believing it'd be just as bad.

got it this morning. spent 3 hours trying to install on my TV. App installed but whrn trying to subscribe i kept getting error messages. never worked. I installed on my phone and then went to login on the tv set. again error message. went back to the phone and sent a message for support. 7 hours later no answer. the chat bot is worthless. somewhere it says I can register another device but when I tried that it's asking for a pin number. Just ridiculous.
The program crashes if you leave the Marquee app. Also, the cast option doesn't appear most of the time so it's required to uninstall and reinstall the app and hope it displays correctly. There is absolutely no way I will spend $20 a month for this frustration.

Cannot access stream of channel through app. I access Marquee through DirecTV.
I don't understand why I can't have the marquee network on my Sony TV. I've done it for years. If I have to pay for the Cubs on Marquee Sports Network I will for the regular season.
Worst streaming app I've used. Can only rewind in 15 sec chunks, but only FF in 5 min? Super buggy. Only used due to lack of other options.
Difficult to cancel subscription. App is poorly developed. Expected better since service costs $20 a month.

I am trying to cancel my subscription and it won't let me. keeps sending me to different websites that keep bouncing me back and forth. I signed up on Google play store by mistake and I'm being charged every month. Just want to cancel it. please advise
Terrible app and very overpriced to watch cub games. I am not likely to ever purchase again.
I'm new to it so far, no like. I don't like the fact that they'll show a picture of Coach Dave wannstedt, click here for game analysis, and when you click on it. not Dave wannstedt is not in the video. there's other things, video quality no Search tool on the app fairy for 20 bucks a month yeah it's not really a good value pretty lame! there's a post game show and I can't find that anywhere on the app for the Bears game that is this goes the same for the Roku version of the app
constantly have to log back in. its a long drawn out login where i have to do an xfinity mfa. half the time I can't get in. half the time when i do get logged in it says I dont have access to stream the game on my account. i immediately gollow all issues with internet speedtests and come up with 200-300mbps down and 10-30mbps up normally so not an internet issue.
I gave benn getting double billed for months. I never signed up for 2 accounts. Marquee Sports Network won't help even though they admit I have been getting double billed. This is terrible customer service.! In addition the App is horrible when you cast or stream to a TV. Way too many glitches and Audio to lags a bit. There is no Marquee App on TV's . After 55 years of being a Cubs Fan this experience and overcharging and it's not a good value, I think I am Finished being a Cubbie Fan!
The app is meh it works okay with minor bugs it would be 3-4 stars on its own my biggest complaint is chrome cast doesn't work. The real issue is not all of the games are available on this channel. You need at least two other subscriptions if you want to watch them all. pro tip: apple TV gives you a free week when you sign up with a new email address.

I've tried to cancel my subscription and there's no where where I can do this. I've visited Marqee website from PC and phone. nothing showing allowing me to cancel. Google subscriptions show nothing as well.
I just tried logging in AGAIN, and marquee asked me which way I wanted to sign in? To which I replied my service provider. It took me to the service provider page that didn't show any provider names, so it tells you to click here for more providers, but that doesn't work either. Can you guess what works perfectly? If you want to subscribe for an extra $19.95 a month + tax. Isn't that amazing??? No Thank You
terrible So off it's not funny. Repeats itself, voices and the play is off-sync. terrible customer service, only available 1 hour before game, if you email them no response.
they either need to hire people to work on this app or fire the people and hire someone competent
I can't believe the Chicago Cubs. I cannot find a better streaming nap. For their games, because this app is terrible. Garbage, it goes in and out every fifteen minutes, unacceptable, especially for how much money the owners and the players make? They should have the best streaming app available for their fans. Because that's who supports them

awful. has to be relaunched every half inning. also when did we start putting ads in the middle of play? at least tell JD and Boog because it would seem they don't know. they will be talking away and an ad will cut them off. That's gross, especially considering we pay 20$ a month for an app that we use once a day for 2 and a half hours at a time. (when it works) all of this money you would think they would spend a bit more on the team but what do I know.
$20 a month and the worst app experience I've ever had. The app crashes while casting every single time unless you keep the app actively open on your phone. I've also tried casting from my desktop but the audio delays every time. Google should seriously pull the app from the store. Do not waste your money or hope it's going to be fixed because it's been like this for months.

If you are looking for an app that costs more than Netflix and offers a fraction of the value, this is the one for you! No TV app and trying to cancel my subscription is a pain. The audio and video are consistently out of sync. This really is the worst app I've ever used and 2nd worst isn't close.

I only use this app because it is my only option. It's ok if you only want to watch live games, but don't expect a good experience if you plan on starting an in progress game from the beginning, if you want to navigate forward/back, or if you want to pause and resume. This is year 2 of the service and it is still missing basic QOL features and has glitches that I never have with other streaming apps. This is a $20 per month streaming service in 2025 that DOESNT EVEN HAVE A FAST FORWARD BUTTON!
worst streaming app I have ever used. if the screen times out, it stops streaming. Not smart TV friendly, especially google TV. If you aren't subscribed to a steaming service that has this bundled in, it's not very user-friendly. I'm glad I'm not a Cubs/Chicago sports fan. i stopped watching the game today and had to unplug my TV to get the app to stop playing on my fire TV. Do not use this awful app.
constantly glitching, audio/video not syncing up EVERY GAME, problems with casting to tv nearly every game...i mean what ISNT wrong with this app? complete garbage for $20 a month. thanks, cubs! 🙄
